Offer him retirement and a bench coach job. They don't trust him to play short and he isn't a hitter at all somehow anymore. The only way it makes any sense to have him in the majors is if Lee is hurt. If really like to root for a team that trusts is youth and jettisons bad veterans. I mean, if Lee is down, who the hell is he even going to mentor?
