    Our thirty day Scotland trip is coming to an end.... And I'm not sure I want to pay close attention to this team. I count zero legit MLB players in this lineup. Two to three backups, maybe starters, but that's it. And this FO and ownership thinks they can compete?

    I think you are wrong about point three. I read a quote from Joey Votto a few years ago, saying it just isn't that easy to hit a pitch where you want and fans really need to let it go. Like, they are literally trying. It's hard.

    It's amazing how many guys want to win more than anyone else in the game! They aren't trading him unless he asks to be traded publicly. I have no idea what he wants.

    Fair. I'd prefer to think about it at them getting smarter and changing their mind with more information and the performance of Wallner, Lewis and Bell.... Not to mention the SP injury situation, but I get your point!

    They pay him either way, and adding a guy is less than a million. Not even they are that cheap.... Ok, maybe they are. Sigh.. I'm all in on giving one of the AAA hours a chance at DH....

    So if he gets middle in pitches, should be take them and wait for one he should drive the other way? I'm not sure what he can do hitting wise at this point in AAA, the pitchers just aren't good enough.

    How many plays does he get at second in a game? Does it really matter? How many scoops a game, likely less than one. Who cares what the game thread says? All that aside, I'm not sure what he can learn in AAA hitting at this point.. so it's kind of up to confidence in him after lots of practice at positions..I have no idea what this FO will wait for, bit given their decision making, I'm confident it will be wrong.

    Why not? He’s 26……part time is better than nothing. He can play CF when Burton isn’t. Left once a week, and right. They have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

    At some point, it's clear AAA isn't doing much for his hitting, but they may want more practice at second or first? I'd likely call him up at this point... And put him or Keaschell at first..

    He 100 percent accepts the QO unless the new CBA changes everything. Even then...... That's more than he gets in 1.5-2 years in a new deal.

    Lawrence is old and bad and never been good, and SWR is young and was decent the last two years? Are we going to completely ignore the last two years?
