    No way it's only one top 100 guy unless that guy is in the top ten or so. No way. They aren't getting less than a top thirty guy and two more guys, or two guys in the fifty to seventy range.

    This. Emotionally I'd love to have him. But I see how Milwaukee and Cleveland run, and the Twins should emulate them. And trade him.

    I wanted Teal, so I clearly want this guy. But I think the team would be happy with any of the three hitters or the top pitcher.

    Out of options? Sigh. This team..... There are probably 4 guys in the system that will never be starters they could promote and move to the bullpen.... At various levels.

    Why would you trade part of the future this year? It's a lost year. No way I'm trading a legit prospect for a guy that doesn't miss many bats.

    I think Cleveland got the short end here, slightly, but they need capital to get a QB in the next draft. I wouldn't be surprised if Verse goes to a bad team with a young QB before the next draft in a three way deal for Cleveland to move up and get a QB.

    They have plenty of SP depth compared to every team in baseball. They are just having awful luck that they are all hurt at once and SWR forgot how to pitch after being fine for two years. I'm not sure what people expect. We can't complain that he didn't draft pitchers high, and that he didn't get enough hitters high.... But we can question the picks and types of hitters, agreed. People also forget that the previous regime left them with one good young player. One. It's hard to fix that when your owner decides to drop into bottom of the barrel payroll.

    No chance they pay him. Zero. And, I disagree..... They traded 1.5 years of him. His current injury is why they won't pay Ryan..... Hopefully they do better in this trade.
