The fourth column? There must be some data on aging and chronically hurt starters, combined with some other variable or two, that signalled flashing red warning lights to other teams. The problem with a “no risk” late winter 2 million signing like this is that the abstract plan on paper becomes very real when the games get started and batters start stepping into the box and clobbering pitches. Now we are losing a lot of games early. Now what do we do? Ought to have just started with Dobnak in the rotation? also I haven’t decided who to vote for yet

I forgot we had Pineda for that injury year when he didn’t pitch. He’s a decent #4 guy — when he’s on the mound.

One of our TD members once had the signature line: Hanging breaking balls are a gift from God - Kirby Puckett Heck, their guy just had a bases-loaded triple on a hanging breaking ball a couple innings ago.

I’m afraid if his arm isn’t strong enough for short, it’s not strong enough for center. But I have no problem with him out there tonight and maybe as a bunch guy going forward like DanSan was.
