    I don’t think the Twins need any more help hitting lefties. They’ve beaten the best ones.

    Fedko plays both CF and 1B the same way Kody Clemens plays both CF and 1B. Roden would be rightfully pissed if he was passed over for Fedko after being passed over Outman. That’s a Montgomery Burns level of dedication to platooning.

    Kreidler wasn’t the opening day SS because he can’t hit a lick. I would prefer they didn’t play Kreidler at all, but if he is going to play they should get the most out of his defense.

    Gonzalez is Wallner minus the arm.

    Why? Lee isn’t going to get better with repetition. He has no future at SS. Play the best defensive alignment (Kreidler at SS) and try to win baseball games.

    They will give Arcia a chance before they promote Culpepper.

    Most days you will see Clemens starting at 1B and Gray at 3B. The bench is Caratini, Outman and Kreidler but Caratini will be paired with Clemens. The extra outfielder (Larnach or Martin) is your only pinch hitting move.

    The difference between the Dodgers & Cubs vs the Angels & White Sox is huge.

    It’s more of a role than “replace Brooks Lee on defense in the 9th inning when the Twins have a lead”.

    Wagaman has a career 730 OPS against lefties. Platoon him with Gray and you can piece together a third baseman. I’ve seen dozens of articles here discussing how the Twins have difficulty against LHP. Kreidler has a career 277 OPS against lefties. His WRC+ is 11.

    Wagaman can platoon with Gray at 3B. Kreidler is a player you limit to 1 inning a game to make sure he never bats.

    I thought Wagaman would get the call. Kreidler and Outman on the same bench is brutal.

    Assuming we get Wagaman as the call up. Would like to see Arcia and cut Outman. Probably Kent for the bullpen. They keep using Klein as a starting pitcher.

    I think Wallner is no great shakes in the outfield but he is probably better than Gonzalez.

    I like this trade: Trevor Larnach to the Astros for Christian Walker and the $20M the Twins would pay on the Correa contract 2027-28.

    They need a first baseman, not a platoon between a catcher and a utility player.

    I would love it if they found a first baseman and made Kody Clemens the 13th guy on the roster.

    There was another article wondering if the Twins should lock up their young players with contract extensions. The ROI on locking up young talent is a LOT better than the ROI on free agent contracts for catchers in their 30s.

    They have a lot more need for a good first baseman on this roster. Better than Keirsey is an incredibly low bar. Keirsey was one of the worst players the Twins have ever had.

    The Twins will find Jeffers difficult to replace.

    Bell is a bad defender. That’s why he’s the DH. This team needs a SS and a 1B.
