    Well he is striking out a lot more. Maybe we can just talk about that.

    Even when they lose, it's so much more fun to watch the Twins hit this year. Knowing that Plouffe, Kubel, Colabello, and Pinto are all power threats who will work the count and take a walk is pretty fun, and must make opposing pitchers sweat. Last year it seemed like everyone was striking out all the time. I can't wait until we have a whole lineup that has punch and patience.

    I thought he isn't throwing the changeup very much this year? I was interested that his fastball had as much movement as Scherzer's. I always thought Hughes' FB was rather straight.

    I'm just worried about concussions. The last few years have made me extremely pessimistic on that subject. Other than that, criticisms of Joe just reveal how out of touch many Twins fans have become.

    That Lindstrom pitch that Arcia mashed in the 9th was actually a decent pitch, low on the outside corner. If he can destroy a pitch like that, imagine what Arcia can do to a mistake. Pinto looked good yesterday too. He has a great swing. I hope he gets some more ABs and starts behind the plate. Maybe once Clutch Suzuki slumps?
