    agreed, I’d add Blankenhorn. He’s getting close and this org is very thin at 3B.

    roster is at 31 and you need to fill 3 starting pitchers and an infielder that will most likely come from outside the organization. You can protect maximum of 5, and I’d like to see a late inning reliever brought in too, making it 4. I’d like to see a couple of these assets traded.

    holding people accountable for their actions is very different from making judgements about them as human beings. The comment policy states very specifically “Respect for others is expected in everything we write, and personal attacks are not allowed.” My post was to remind the board not you specifically that we should be empathetic of our neighbors. That we don’t know everything about our community members, but we are just that. We are a community, composed of Twins fans, complete with all of our own biases, points of view and imperfections. Hamilton wasn’t my concern in that post, but our community and how we react naturally when we discuss these things.

Josh Hamilton has a lot of history, but characterizing him one way or another, or broad generalizations about groups of people can escalate quickly. Many people including members of Twins Daily struggle with addiction, we should be sensitive to them and to the Hamilton family. I’ll continue to monitor, and may lock this thread

    It was a great series, but man that was too long. I like the split screen commercials. I wish we’d see more of that in baseball especially, but the three other big sports too. They’re all taking longer and longer. As a plus, the split screen ads would reach the wider streaming audiences. They would have to cost more.

    I feel for Dyson, to pitch through pain like that for an extended period, but if I were GM I’d do the same as Falvey. There’s no telling how well Dyson will recover from shoulder surgery, and relievers are so volatile from season to season when they are healthy. I hope Dyson heals up and is ready to go in 2021, but I wouldn’t try to pull a Pineda with him to find out.

    Apple got nabbed in ‘17 for a power throttling software package that was supposed to improve battery life but caused significant performance issues. Now with iPhone 11, they openly selling it as a ‘feature’ rather than hiding it in an update
