    I keep waiting for this lineup to get it together. Maybe they'll get it together after a couple of major players are traded at the deadline.

    So, Mrs. Blake and I got back to town this morning, where this afternoon it's a balmy 105 degrees. Did I mention we were in Laughlin, NV., where the high yesterday was 119? 105 doesn't really looks so bad right about now.

    Welp, I admit to being a bit disappointed the no-hitter was broken up. I figured if Sale is going to deal, but fun to see if he can throw a perfect game. Though, Sale was dealing, no doubt about that. Credit to Berrios, though, for hanging tough so far.

    Overall, players go through slumps. But what's completely befuddling is the whole team just isn't hitting. Yes, there are some bright spots but not enough to carry the team. The way things are going, opposing managers might just as well walk Rosario and Escobar and take their chances with the rest of the lineup.
