  1. Go ahead, argue. Carole is just a harmless mod, all sweetness and light. I swear!
  2. But what if? Strangers things have happened. Wear the shades though, just in case.
  3. Eh, had to be adjusted to reflect it's a double header and there's only so much space. However, the next couple of days should be good.
  4. Thank you. When and where did you get some great material? In other words, what changed?
  5. Well, after watching the misadventures of Twins catchers this year, I can see why a defensive backstop is valued over an offensive catcher.
  6. Well, this year is my fourth year of doing game threads. It's been fun and I've truly enjoyed the amount of freedom allowed when writing intros. Admittedly, when it comes to game threads and the Twins, there have been some highs and lows:* *When in doubt, post video. Today, though, is a special day, because today is a double header Tuesday. Which means:* *Not that there's really any such thing as too much baseball. Especially when the Twins win. In watching the White Sox, it's obvious there's some talent and it will be interesting to see the talent develop over the next few years. Meanwhile, though, the Twins need to show this young Sox team who's the boss:* *Ouch. Some random thoughts: Wow, according to Baseball Press, I'm very late getting this thread up and in place: Some observations from last night: 1. I think I went through baseball withdrawal. 2. The baseball draft took place. Yay! 3. The Twins didn't play last night. 4. Woot! The Yankees split with the Tigers yesterday. 5. Some observations from the night before last: 1. Nice to see Dozier Encarnacion the Indians. 2. Yay Walk-offs! 3. Rosario is entertaining to watch, mistakes and all. 4. FRE: The man just goes about his business and gets the job done. 5. Kepler: I really like this kid. Good steady player who looks to be getting better and better. Play ball! Pitching the first game of this double header; Twins: TBD White Sox: Lopez Pitching the second game of the double header: Twins: TBD (this TBD guy must have quite the arm!) White Sox: Giolito Mods: Please note, I may not be able to post the lineups. Also, Baseball Press and mlb.com do not agree as to which Sox pitcher is starting the first game. Of course, since I'm really late with this thread according to Baseball Press, I'm thinking mlb.com is probably correct. We shall see.

  8. I really like Morrison. He hustled down the baseline even though it looked to be a sure out at first and actually made it closer than it should have been. The man hustles and I think he sets a great example.
  9. Sufficiently ambiguous. Therefore, I called it! (okay, okay, one batter off.)
  10. That's a question you'd never ask Bartolo.
  11. Hmm, Dozier coming up top of the Ninth? Walk off maybe?
  12. Is that an actual analog stereo your tv is on? Or is it a retro type thing? (Hoping it's the real deal. )
  13. Seriously, it wasn't that long ago Adrianza was sent in a similar situation and he was out by quite a bit. But did the Twins coaches learn from the first time? Evidently not. Unreal.
  14. Really? Didn't learn the first time you sent Adrianza?
  15. Yay! Man aboard for Mr. Encarnacion!
  16. The problem is, though, that Eddie is redefining the definition of "unittable" pitch.
  17. You'd been married a while, hadn't you? Either that, or you were a very quick study.
  18. Oh, and Molitor? Your hitters just covered for your very poor bullpen management.
  19. Hmm, Rosario just Encarnacioned the Indians.
  20. Dozier just Encarnacioned Clevinger. Good job, Mr. Dozier!
  21. I think Molitor manages by putting players in and expecting them to succeed rather than putting players in position to succeed.
