  1. No idea. However, if you look at the second link I provided, Ryan has an abysmal inherited runner strand rate.
  2. Ah, found it here: https://www.foxsports.com/mlb/minnesota-twins-team-stats?season=2018&category=PITCHING+RELIEF&group=1&sort=15&time=0&pos=0&qual=0&sortOrder=0&splitType=128&statID=0 If I'm reading it correctly, Ryan has an abysmal 31% inherited runners strand rate.
  3. According to his stats, he's pretty good. However, his WHIP and BB per 9 are not good. As we just found out. https://www.rotowire.com/baseball/player.htm?id=12782 And I'n not sure I buy the strand rate, because I seem to recall more than a few times he's not gotten the job done. Unless the stat is based on stranding his own runners versus inherited runners.
  4. That's on Molitor. I believe Pressly has been terrible at stranding runners this year.
  5. LaMarre got robbed. Great catch, darn it! And, walked in the door just in time to watch Mr. Gibson strike someone out. And, I cannot claim I was all that surprised. What a difference a year makes.
  6. No, because it was akin to a train wreck in that I really couldn't avert my eyes from the disaster.
  7. Lynn's ERA is down to and almost respectable 5.46. Amazing what a couple of good outings will do.
  8. Didn't realize it was an early game today and tuned in just in time to see the Twins clobber the Indians. Lance Lynn on the mound, even.
  9. No, pellet grill are the way to go. You've never had ribs until you've had some done on a pellet grill.
  10. We'll call it a ground rule double.
  11. Ah, then, my memory is faulty. I thought Mauer's average had dropped into the .250 range.
  12. To quote the late great Ron Luciano, "Oh yeah? Well, I got my arm torn out of the socket by.."
  13. Yeah, I said much the same thing. Funny thing is, I thought Mauer should have retired before the 2017 season because he just wasn't performing. Then he had that Mauer of old year and I gladly ate crow on that one. This year, his performance has really gone downhill after his great start, but after I heard about the return of his symptoms, I thought he should retire because I didn't want Mauer to risk further injury. And, I've cringed several times when I've watched Mauer make those diving plays. I say that, because I remember Koskie saying he was doing fine, until he dove for a ball and then things went all wonky for him again. I might add, I thought something was wrong, because his batting average dropped off a cliff and I didn't necessarily buy that it was due to a neck strain.
  14. Hah! Seriously, story from the sixties: A guy in an orange shirt, purple suede pants and an afro robbed a store, ran outside and disappeared into the crowd...Did I mention this robbery took place in San Francisco?
  15. In other words, you were still in the market for a good time?
  16. Okay, where did you get those shoes? My wife loves the color purple, her birthday is coming up and I actually know what size shoe she wears. Great intro! Never mind, I see you mentioned the shoe designer. Thanks!
  17. You are the optimist...interesting game thread and Twins win on the same night?
  18. See, I told you, pitchers duel! *if by pitching duel one means the pitchers are purposely trying to hit the bat
  19. Well, off to graduation practice. Man, that 5 years I spent in the fourth grade just flew by!
  20. Nah, I'm not worried about Miss Keller. however, that Chitown gal was tough! Though, truth be told, I wasn't really afraid of her either. Swearsies!
