  1. Okay, on to other things. How about that Twins draft?
  2. I'm not really even upset that Pressly gave up the lead. I knew exactly what was going to happen as soon as runners were on and Molitor brought in Pressly. However, I want to know when Levine or Falvey are going to ask Molitor why he keeps using Pressly with runners on? The numbers are readily available so it's not just an impression. The numbers say Pressly is awful with runners on.
  3. Garver made up for it by being caught off third when Dozier hit the ball back to the pitcher.
  4. Reaffirmation that teaching class was a better idea than watching the Twins?
  5. What's sad is that I was looking up Pressly's IRS stats to post and in the time it took me to find them, Pressly had once again allowed inherited runners to score.
  6. Why does Molitor insist on putting in Pressly, with runners on, when Pressly has a 35.3% IRS? https://tinyurl.com/ycousq5m

  10. I had to read that again, because I thought you initially said an "elderly gentleman in CA." I take umbrage at being called a "gentleman," sir!
  11. As per usual, I probably won't be able to post lineups. Thanks in advance!
  12. As the game thread went along yesterday, there was a person, who shall remain nameless, though his name rhymes with "pixel," who took a bit of umbrage at the game time being changed in the title.* *I hasten to add, it was all in good fun. Don't hurt me, chi, I mean, Carole! To go along with the game time confusion, we had baseball press who had the first game starting at 3:33am Eastern Time! * *Glad chief didn't see that 'cause he might have given me the "chief look" and wanted to know why I was slacking off! The Twins did well in their first game but ran into some trouble bringing home the chicken dinner in the second game. Stuff to think about:* *You too, for the low low price of $$$$ can rent your own mountain! Some observations from the day game: 1. Another excellent start by Mr. Romero.2. The FRE does it again!3. Nice to see Mr. Duffey pick up a win.4. These late inning heroics are fun but nerve wracking!5. Escobar! Some observations from the night game: 1. Hard to win when the opposition is spotted 4 runs in the first inning.2. Twins managed to survive the day without completely burning up the bullpen.3. Mr. Littell got some MLB experience but at the expense of a loss. Why not bring up someone who's option clock is already ticking?4. Of course, maybe Littell's option clock doesn't start when being called up for a double header. Anyone know?5. Escobar! Play ball! Pitching:
  13. Maybe someone else will have a better take, but, I think Molitor did okay with the bullpen in the double header. The bullpen isn't completely wiped out and should be okay for the rest of the series. No, the second game didn't turn out like it should have, but, to be fair, the Twins only scored 3 and the Sox had 4 in the first inning.
  14. But did you wear the shades so you could give her the "eye" without her noticing?
