I'd have bet money Lynn didn't make to the sixth.

Good deal! One thing I forgot to mention is the Stone Arch bridge. Great view of all the old mill houses on the river. Anyway, sounds like you got in some good sight seeing!
  4. Blake
    Agreed, Mr. Pixel, er, Sixel.
  5. Blake
You have a baby in the house? Enjoy them now, because this is about as easy as child rearing gets.

    One word: Molitor.

    Way to go, Mr. Berrios!

Sox must have non-refundable tickets because they certainly seem anxious to give away outs and go home.

You need the IT department I have.

I see the Sox third base coach has been watching Glynn and Adrianza. Evidently, he didn't realize it was a lesson in how NOT to send a runner.
  12. Blake
The Sox are just now cranking up the bullpen?
  13. Blake
That's insane. Ball looked like it started on the inside corner to Abreau and broke over the outside corner.
  14. Blake
Adrianza went deep? Dogs and cats sleeping together!
  15. Blake
Just kidding, chief! I'll be there for the rest of my scheduled threads.
  16. Blake
    Woot! Last game thread!
  17. Blake
    And, we're off!

I got up this morning wondering where I was going to go with this game thread. Avoiding excessive negativity is in the style sheet:* *Kelly's Heroes and baseball. What's not to like? I have to admit, it's been an interesting year, because the Twins have definitely been getting some decent starting pitching. The bats, though, seem to come and go, which is puzzling, to say the least. Maybe a bit of motivation is in order?* *I knew I could work this clip in some how! In the end, though, baseball is still the best game ever invented, and while the home town nine may disappoint, baseball, in and of itself, never disappoints. *I got distracted watching these. They are a hoot! With that, I leave you with the following thoughts: Some observations from last night: 1. Adrianza brought the bat for a change.2. Escobar does it again.3. Odorizzi again gave the team a chance.4. The Sox do have some good young talent.5. Shake off that loss, Twins, it's another day! Play ball! Lineups:

yeah, and I tend to get smarter the drunker I get.

I'm out. I'll check the game score when I do the thread tomorrow. Salud! Slanche! Feliz Navidad!

I think Grossman was a bit hopeless with that AB..
  23. Blake
I think we need either an "agree" or a "true" button because it just doesn't seem right to like that comment.
  24. Blake
But, if you get the silent treatment, worth it, right?
  25. Blake
    That's a bad thing?
