  1. Ok, I got one... It only took a month but.... Cut Buck Britton Leonardo Reginatto from AA to AAA Nick Gordon from High A to AA Luis Arraez from Low A to High A Manuel Guzman returns to CR from his rehab assignment (Even though his original CR placement seemed a little aggressive and he is only hitting 200 in the GCL while rehabbing)
  2. Hitting 203/248/306, Buck has probably earned his release to make room for a promotion. Unfortunately there are not a ton of middle infielders outside Leonardo Reginatto who have earned or are ready for a promotion to AAA. (Reginatto is a little long in the tooth to be much of a prospect but he does not belong at AA and won't be blocking anyone at AAA) Moving Reginatto up makes room for a promotion from Fort Meyers like Nick Gordon. When he is, ready for that, I think Britton will be cut.
  3. Guzman has been in 4 games with 15 AB for the GCL Twins on his "rehab". Still waiting to see where he ends up after the rehab. There are a couple infielders at CR that could be promoted to make room (Arraez looks ready and Miller already put in a 4 game appearance for Fort Meyers)
  4. I think you nailed it with the top two guys in their rightful places but it takes a great WHIP like Trevor's to beat Landas 12ks in 9 innings and 0.00 ERA. Apparently when Landa gives up a hit or walk, he just strikes the next guy or two out. Even better though, Trevor just doesn't put them on base in the first place.
  5. Averaging 7 innings per game, a 0.73 WHIP AND 38 Ks, Berrios makes a very strong case to be #1 though I think 2 walks in 34 innings is VERY impressive...
  6. Agreed, thank you for posting
  7. Frankly I am glad we got anything for him at this point. At least he wasn't just claimed off waivers for free or left after clearing waivers as a free agent. Arcia was bungled badly when he was sent down last year and that error led to the rest of it with blame going all around. This Topic is dead to me now...moving on...
  8. I don't know why you think sending Park is off the table... He basically said Park had a week to turn it around... At. Least that's how I took it.
  9. Honestly I didn't find it very insightful at all. It's good to know Molitor recognizes the need to develop players and to win and that he is at least attempting to juggle those two things but outside that pinch hit, there have been to many failures (or at least perceived failures) to make those right moves to help with confidence and development. Molitor could have used some time in the minors developing his management skills. Ryan built the team and hired the coaches so in the end the buck stops there. Any quotes in this piece are just typical Ryan. What he said I think you can take at face value. If Plouffe is healthy and Park continues to struggle this coming week, Park will be sent down when Sano returns.
  10. Also signed by the Twins according to transactions page and Elizabethton roster: OF-Hank Morrison 22nd Round Mercyhurst LHP-Austin Tribby 35th Round Missouri Not assigned to rosters yet kiriloff Rortvedt Miranda Baddoo Hackimer Benninghoff Featherstone Hutcheon Grogan Gamez Beeker Cronin McGuff
  11. Completely agree. I do not understand Cabbage in GCL at all but this may be just pending other moves.
  12. Brandon Lopez is on the Elizabethton roster so he must be signed
  13. Assigned to Elizabethton today
  14. Assigned to Elizabethton today
  15. Runzler released from Rochester to make room for Baxendale Diemer promoted from Exst to fill CF in CEdar Rapids Theofanopoulus promoted to Fort Meyers, Brian Gilbert to DL Two pitching spots open in CR still, maybe a couple of pitchers returning from DL? They currently have 4 on the DL... Elizabethan roster is up... http://www.milb.com/roster/index.jsp?sid=t576 GCL as well http://www.milb.com/roster/index.jsp?cid=474
  16. There have to be a.lot more moves unannounced still each promotion means someone above just left the organization or is DL listed.
  17. I think they are done signing high school players outside the top 10. They will have 30 players signed if they finish signing all the top 20 players which is a large number and there are 3 college seniors in the bottom 20 still not signed that have to sign still.
  18. If Plouffe had been traded, Sano would have been at third and Arcia would have been given a better look this year. If these had been his numbers with double or triple the playing time, then fine, time to cut bait. Unfortunately, Arcia was not given much of a chance this year to bounce back so I am upset. I love Arcias passion. I love his raw energy and emotion. Our team needs more of that. I love his home run power and what he did as a rookie. He had many flaws and I understand managements frustrations but he was so young and raw. SMH, *sigh*
  19. Still dominant over all numbers (302/426/427) but hitting merely 206 in the last 10 games and just 222/400/222 in June. That's right, no extra base hits in June so far but he has also only had 27 at bats in 8 games... Hey, SD Buhr, was he hurt? Why hasn't he been playing everyday?
  20. Not much to update as Palacios numbers seem to be staying fairly much the same all year with a 216 BA over the last 10. Some players need half a year to master a level, some take a year some have to repeat a season at a level. Let's hope this is the second and not the third scenario developing.
  21. Season stats at 265/353/423 after hitting 158 over the last 10 games. His rough patch seems to align with Cedar Rapids recent swoon but I'm still a believer in this kid. This is still his first full season professional year and now has 52 more at bats than last year... As a catcher, he has thrown out 20 of 54 would be base stealers and has only allowed 2 passed balls. He has committed 6 errors in 384 innings behind the dish for a .987 fpct
  22. Now hitting 254/332/399 with 13/4/4 2b/3b/hr. He is still at 4 stolen bases. He has struck out 52 times in 228 AB with 27 walks. All 516 of his innings on defense have been at first with 5 errors for a .991 fielding percentage.
  23. Now hitting 316/373/430 with 14 doubles (only 2 homers). His GO/AO is 1.97 so he keeps the ball low, gets on base and scores runs (34). He has now logged 303 innings at 2nd with 4 errors (.976 fielding and 4.69 range) SEND HIM TO FORT MEYERS! sorry for yelling
  24. Any body have any news about Valeras injury and when he will be back from the DL? Bob, have you seen him in Fort Meyers?
