  1. If Rocco had a first baseman taller than 5’9 it would have been an out. Just sayin
  2. If you expect to win with a guy that’s 1-32 in his career your team isn’t very good. I don’t care if he can play 8 positions and sell more beer than Wally the Beerman.
  3. Had the Twins resigned Taylor last season instead of Margot….would have been a playoff team.
  4. Takes a quick glance to get a signal from the dugout.
  5. Two things Why isn’t Larnach running in hard to back up on play Alcala is hit? Standing watching? Would have saved a base. no enthusiasm- guys not running hard to first on ground balls.
  6. He was pesky at the plate and caused havoc on the bases and certainly put Gray under duress. well we would have hoped so.
  7. One that gets on base, causes havoc on the paths, with new rules can steal a base, go from first to third on a single. Mookie certainly does those things.
  8. How can a Major League team not have several legitimate lead off hitters on their roster? Similar to an NFL team not having any Centers.
  9. A small change of one spot in the order is not an issue. Agree with you on that. It’s the constant shifting day to day. No regular lead off, no regular clean up hitter etc.
  10. That is not the type of batting order I’m talking about. As I mentioned most managers are consistent day to day. His lineups vary every day.
  11. I would add that almost if not all Managers have a regular batting order. Helps guys get comfortable. Not Rocco…different almost every day.
  12. Assuming the other owners approve the sale if they are under criminal allegations?
  13. He may be good he may not. Folks here continue to believe Varland is now the answer in the bullpen many of them thought he was backend starter. He’s neither it’s time to move on.
  14. Article a bit harsh on Alex. Praise for trying to play through injuries but rip him for statistics while playing hurt.
  15. Need a Manager that will instill fundamentals, passion and the joy of playing the game. Rocco is not that guy.
  16. Anyone know how many different batting orders have been used this year? Most good or great Managers have set lineups each game. Guys get comfortable knowing when they get to the park . I don’t understand his reasoning.
