    Love to get some pitching depth. Some good rookie talent but they haven’t gone beyond 130 innings pitched (give or take a few). Gotta trade Paddack for the best offer we receive. Ryan has either been injured or his performance has slipped late since since acquired from the Rays. FO will have to get creative this offseason.

    I like the idea of trading for Diaz as well. Maybe we could trade Vasquez and some prospects for him since the rays need a catcher? Jacob Stallings to back up Jeffers. Paddack for the best offer we can get. sign Boyd as a LH SP for some depth.

    Maybe he can platoon with O’Hearn is he’s made available by the Os? Question 3 is the biggest one IMO. Can he hit well for the entire season? if they give him enough reps there in the off-season and spring training, he should be ready defensively.

    Okay add another mil to year two and year three. I guess my thought was give him a longer-term guaranteed deal and back weight it to give us financial flexibility for 2025.

    Seems like the third generation of the Pohlads aren’t very good at making “business decisions”. Half their net worth is tied up in this franchise that they don't seem to want. Not sure who’ll buy the Twins but I cannot imagine them being worse.

    Hopefully Martin is shagging fly balls right now and will continue to do so until spring training. ⚾️

    Overall they were good but too streaky. Averaged just over 3 runs per game when they were losing (beginning and end of season) and over 5 runs per game when they had one of the best records in baseball.

    Pitching depth? I have seen this reasoning in the articles for trading RP and SP. Did I watch a different team collapse in 2024? Pitching was a major problem in 2024.

    Twins were not good at running or stopping the run in 2024. Do we have a player type? Seems like there is some speed in the minors so maybe better days ahead. In the short term it’s the basics. Getting doubled off, Ill advised waves home etc. Can we at least be smart on the bases and not give away outs?

    Young players can be a fickle thing. We had a great group in 23 that we were all excited about and look what happened to most of them in 2024.
