    Not including today’s game the Twins have averaged 3.6 runs per game since coming back from the All-Star break. Will go down to 3.4 if they are shut out today.

    Bobby Nightengale: Dean Kremer is scheduled to start Wednesday in Kansas City for his Twins debut. Joe Ryan scheduled for Tuesday and Bailey Ober on Thursday.

    This was a team loss, everyone played a part. Pitchers walked 8 batters, batters only scored 3 runs, defensive lapse that would have sent the game to extras. Who would’ve thought the 2026 Twins would be playing meaningful games in August or buying at the deadline? Certainly not this guy. Go Twins!
