  1. 4.43 ERA and 1.46 WHIP, would fit right in with our other #4 and #5 starters. Haven't we learned our lesson yet??? re: Paddack, DeSclafani, etc, etc. Please don't waste your time. Either shoot for someone better or don't do anything at all.
  2. That must be 26 SS drafted in the last 5 years. Camaniti would have been my pick.
  3. 1. Carew (Not Close) 2. Killebrew 3. Oliva 4. Bostock 5. Gaetti
  4. I told the wife today that I couldn't cut the lawn because my back hurt. I wouldn't be able to keep the lines perfectly straight. So I know how Miranda feels. Baseball is a rough game.
  5. We do not have 3 quality playoff starters on this rostor. You need shut down pitchers in the playoffs, because you will be facing better 1 and 2 starters than what we have.
  6. He will be the real deal when he can command the strike zone more consistently. Gets himself into trouble when he struggles throwing strikes. Then he will have a 10 pitch inning. Great stuff, needs better command. He will get there.
  7. Amen! It is really ridiculous for young men that are supposed to be in the best shape of their lives. What the heck are they going to feel like in their 60's??
  8. I would look for a pitcher that has had their pitching arm amputated. If you even have to pose this question, why not?
  9. Manaea would not be an addition to this staff. He would be another 4 or 5 starter. We have plenty of them. Festa could be a godsend for this staff. If we trade for a pitcher, thinking we can make a run, we need another #1 or #2 starter. I use the term "another" very loosely.
  10. I totally agree, but we are good at trying to rehabilitate other teams rejects. That's what we did "revamping" the bull pen.
  11. Twins losses used to ruin my days/ nights also. But with this manager and front office moves (junk pile pitching acquisitions), I don't care nearly as much anymore. Plus not being able to watch the games make it easy to move on.
  12. I live 50 miles from downtown, I find games are only blacked out on MLB Network. FS1 and TBS I am fine, never blacked out.
  13. This should be an easy win tonight. Our ace vs. their worst.
  14. 4.72 ERA for our ACE! What a well constructed pitching staff.
  15. What's everyone worried about?? After we sweep the lowly Nats, we will be right back in it!! Oh, wait...
  16. The Twins will break the losing streak when their stopper comes up in the rotation. Oh wait, never mind.
  17. Can you believe the fight in this club!??! Could have easily given up down 11 in the 9th.
  18. What makes you think next season, or the season after, or the season after that will be any better?
  19. Twins bullpen, embarrassment of riches, or just plain embarrassing.
  20. Nice to see Buck hasn't missed a beat!
