  1. I live 50 miles from downtown, I find games are only blacked out on MLB Network. FS1 and TBS I am fine, never blacked out.
  2. This should be an easy win tonight. Our ace vs. their worst.
  3. 4.72 ERA for our ACE! What a well constructed pitching staff.
  4. What's everyone worried about?? After we sweep the lowly Nats, we will be right back in it!! Oh, wait...
  5. The Twins will break the losing streak when their stopper comes up in the rotation. Oh wait, never mind.
  6. Can you believe the fight in this club!??! Could have easily given up down 11 in the 9th.
  7. What makes you think next season, or the season after, or the season after that will be any better?
  8. Twins bullpen, embarrassment of riches, or just plain embarrassing.
  9. Nice to see Buck hasn't missed a beat!
  10. I thought Ober had better stuff. 90mph fastball ain't gonna get it done.
  11. Just be thankful the Twins pulled the games from TV so we don't have to watch.
  12. Like I said in an earlier post, management/owner will be ecstatic to just squeak into the playoffs. They know with this division that they could cut payroll and sign reject free agents and still accomplish that. It was one step better than the Bundy, Shoemaker, Archer, Gallo years. They are going if they do that, they can keep most critics silent. If they were in any other division that wouldn't fly.
  13. But of course blacked out for me.
  14. The Twins front office/owners goal was to spend just enough money to make the playoffs. Even if it was as a wildcard. That should appease the fans for another year. And guess what, looks like they might have accomplished that goal. How else do you explain the Paddack/Gray rotation swap and the complete disaster of a trade for DeSclafani and the disaster Varland trial. Add to that the Margot, and Santana, (although he has been ok) signings for cheap, you get what you pay for.
  15. Bullpen served up sugar cookies and milk.
  16. Our bullpen will lose alot more than just today the way it is constructed. It was addressed this off-season with mediocre to terrible additions.
  17. Let's get back to reality. As I said at the beginning of the year, reclamation projects and guys no one else wanted. That's who we have in our bull pen. Absolutely can't lose games like this.
  18. I would think Rall has the potential to gain the number 1 spot as the lead hitting coach for this team.
  19. You've got to be able to hit straight heat. Sure are alot of swings and misses.
  20. Another night that proves we need robo umps, or we need to start grading these umps a little more stricter. This guy is all over with his calls.
  21. Either make it against the rules to pitch a position player, or its free reign for the offense. Simple as that. This is just a ridiculous argument. There is no crying in baseball!
  22. Looks like we might lose one of our 60 wins tonight. 59-103.
  23. Feeling optimistic are we? Yes, you could say I am pessimistic. Didn't like the team out of spring training, and didn't like their off season moves. They have proved me right so far. You are correct about the pitching, one injury will definitely derail any positivity in this squad. I think the line up is going to have consistent injury issues, when have they not? Depth is not there and poor decisions by management linger and linger. We cannot compete with the average teams much less above average teams. We will see I guess.
