    Just be thankful the Twins pulled the games from TV so we don't have to watch.

    Like I said in an earlier post, management/owner will be ecstatic to just squeak into the playoffs. They know with this division that they could cut payroll and sign reject free agents and still accomplish that. It was one step better than the Bundy, Shoemaker, Archer, Gallo years. They are going if they do that, they can keep most critics silent. If they were in any other division that wouldn't fly.

    The Twins front office/owners goal was to spend just enough money to make the playoffs. Even if it was as a wildcard. That should appease the fans for another year. And guess what, looks like they might have accomplished that goal. How else do you explain the Paddack/Gray rotation swap and the complete disaster of a trade for DeSclafani and the disaster Varland trial. Add to that the Margot, and Santana, (although he has been ok) signings for cheap, you get what you pay for.

    Our bullpen will lose alot more than just today the way it is constructed. It was addressed this off-season with mediocre to terrible additions.

    Let's get back to reality. As I said at the beginning of the year, reclamation projects and guys no one else wanted. That's who we have in our bull pen. Absolutely can't lose games like this.

    I would think Rall has the potential to gain the number 1 spot as the lead hitting coach for this team.

    Another night that proves we need robo umps, or we need to start grading these umps a little more stricter. This guy is all over with his calls.

    Either make it against the rules to pitch a position player, or its free reign for the offense. Simple as that. This is just a ridiculous argument. There is no crying in baseball!

    Feeling optimistic are we? Yes, you could say I am pessimistic. Didn't like the team out of spring training, and didn't like their off season moves. They have proved me right so far. You are correct about the pitching, one injury will definitely derail any positivity in this squad. I think the line up is going to have consistent injury issues, when have they not? Depth is not there and poor decisions by management linger and linger. We cannot compete with the average teams much less above average teams. We will see I guess.

    Nothing like a HUGE dose of false hope offered up by the Chicago White Sox. Can't wait to get back to reality after this series.

    I hope the Twins reap exactly what they sowed this off-season. It all starts with this series against Chicago. It might get ugly boys.

    How can you demand that as an owner when you are pinching pennies!!! I would argue just the opposite! If I was Falvine or gawd help me, Rocco, I would tell Pohlad YOU FIX THIS ####Hole of a team! Give us some money or we are out of here!!

    I couldn't agree more with your disagreement. You have to dig awfully deep and put on rose colored glasses to see anything positive so far.

    Not sure I want them to "salvage" the season. That will just give them more ammo to repeat roster construction the same way year after year. Sign washed up vets, scrap heap pitchers, and keep the wallet fat. I think we need a total collapse at this point, and clean the house!

    Hitters need a hitting coach. So we really don't even need one with this roster.
