I keep seeing this post time and time again. Even during spring training. When are people going to realize that this team just doesn't have talent and they are what they are? Mediocre at best. Throw in Baldelli as the the decision maker and you fall below mediocre. It is a team with no fire and less belief. They might have spurts that gets everyone thinking they finally figured it out. But then they come back to reality. A .500 season is hopeful.
That's because they really aren't a big 3. Optimists and people think they are. This team needs 12 guys like Bader and France and rid themselves of guys that have proved time and time again they don't have what it takes. Need new blood and new atmosphere. Starts with getting rid of Rocco.
16? You must be kidding. It's going to be a struggle for any Twins starter to get to 16, and he's 4th, 5th, or worse in the pitching heirarchy on this team. He would be very lucky to get to 10 wins. Maybe 6-7 if the offense can support him.
