  1. The Twins spring training decision to keep Outman was, and remains, frustrating. It's hard to imagine any team claiming Outman had he been waived. And if they did, so what? That said, I would like to see both Jenkins and Roden called up. Fedko and Martin sent down although I don't recall if Martin has options remaining.
  2. It's time for Walker Jenkins. The Twins probably should put Buxton on the DL to get better. Let's do it. Also, I can't help but want to call Cody Morissette "Alanis". I need help!
  3. I'm commenting on Wallner. Bell is killing it with his bat and earning his pay. He should not be on first base. Lewis is learning the position but has a chance to be good there. I'm enjoying what Bell brings to the table.
  4. Bell has to be traded at the deadline for their to be even a whiff of a chance. The Twins need athletes who can be valuable defensively as well as hit.
  5. Perhaps he can move to the big club immediately following the futures game. I can hear the question; "why rush him"? Why not? If he struggles, he can go back to St. Paul.
  6. I share your thoughts but add another to support trading him at the deadline: he is, at best, a mediocre outfielder. The Twins simply have to improve defensively. They are seemingly starting this with their infield adjustments. They need to continue to focus on better defense and athleticism. Larnach's trade value is seemingly at it's peak. Take advantage of that.
  7. Larnach and Jeffers both ought to be able to bring some relief to our relief pitching. Bell could too...but he sure is hitting a ton right now and it's painful to move both he and Larnach. That said, the Twins are chock full of DH's who should not be in the field. Time to change that and bring in relief pitching could improve the team this year.
  8. I think the Twins are cursed; my goodness. Let's hope Culpepper is ok. Maybe they should call up Jenkins before he gets injured again.
  9. Making the playoffs and being a good thing...this year, are not the same thing. I'd sell for the right price. Keep: Joe Ryan. Twins could be good next year...if there is a season. Would prefer to keep Clemens too. Trade: Jeffers, Bell, Larnach. We know Jeffers has value. Bell is hitting better and might get a decent relief pitcher. Larnach has raised his trade value. Other players can certainly be included in trades, but these 3 players should be traded if they can get good/reasonable value.
  10. Internal bullpen solutions for 2027...if there is a season: Andrew Morris, Yoendrys Gomez, Marco Raya, Festa, Rojas, Culpepper, Paredes & Banda. Lot's of if's and wishful thinking here, but that could be pretty good.
  11. Keaschall's move to the outfield places his Twins future in jeopardy with so many outfielders in St. Paul on the radar.
  12. Thank you for the entertaining chuckle this morning!
  13. That is exactly how I see it unless some team makes a silly offer that can't be refused for another player(s). Jeffers will not be a Twin next season. Bell is hitting pretty well, but is readily replaceable and Larnach has increased his trade value.
  14. Resigning or extending Jeffers does not seem likely...or even possible with current ownership. Consequently, the Twins should look for a good trade. Barring a reasonable trade offer, then the Twins can choose to lose him at the end of the season. But Jeffers will not be a Twin next season.
  15. The Twins have some nice problems as our hitting prospects are mostly performing and moving up. The outfield at St. Paul is just plain jammed with guys who are close, if not ready, for the bigs. Like most, I'm excited to see Marek Houston called up to AA. I wonder how long it will be before Brandon Winokur moves up as well. Back to the outfield, I am starting to think that after Jeffers, Larnach may well be the Twin most likely to be traded to free up OF space. He has certainly enhanced his trade value this season.
