    Ober 73 pitches yesterday. Festa 63 pitches today. At this pace our starters will be built up to going 3 innings each.

    In a land far away, a long time ago (when David Ortiz was a young player), the Twins were punch hitters, played good defense, hit behind runners, and played good defense. Now, defense is lousy, nobody hits behind the runner, strikes out, pops up, can't run the bases, and swings for the fences every at bat. A little middle ground please.

    Is there a specific stat for: Runners scoring from 2nd & 3rd with less than 2 out? Or Moving runners up with less than 2 out? Twins can't be much better than the White Sox in those categories.

    Of Jax 5 homeruns given up...how many have been on fastballs? Oh, and what a lousy pinch hitting decision...what do you think Julien must be thinking right now?

    Are these hitters just guessing every pitch, and guessing wrong?

    What about moving runners up? How many times have we had runners on first and second, nobody out, and we get 2 strikeouts. Those situations have been killing us.

    Typical offensive night for the Twins...we don't have a single hitter that would crack the Braves lineup. Too bad we can't learn from watching good hitters hit.
