    Well its Austin Martin in CF. Buck hurt, Bader traded, 11 guys traded, and they still won't give Keirsey a start. If there is one Twin who deserved a fresh start its that kid. He has been criminally mishandled.

    Jesus, just put Helman at first base (the kid will play anywhere) and leave Keirsey alone to backup everyone who will eventually be injured. They've more than paid their dues and with this salary structure seem to fit in nicely. Now, since all my football teams have been beaten senseless, let's play ball.

    With the state of the Twins right now, these photos kinda make me sad. But then a mental pic that I have in my head of Rick Dempsey tripping as he was going to first base after a walk brought a smile to my face. Love the memories, love baseball, love the Twins.

    I just get the feeling that AK is not the only person on the team that is reluctant to communicate with Rocco. Like many of you I have rooted for this team for decades and I cannot remember feeling that any previous team was as disconnected as this squad. Having said that, it doesn't take Alex off the hook. If healthy, he has a tough row to hoe in order to salvage his career.

    This is great reporting on Keirsey and the Saints players. Frustrating the the Twins did not see the value in the Saints centerfielder when the position has been ill manned for years due to constant injuries and less than prolific imports from other organizations.

    Our manager does not feel the need to play the Twins best hitter for average. Instead he would rather trot out Julian, Lee, and Lewis who continue to flail and fail. He's in the lineup tonight but he must feel like a forgotten man. Timing is off and tonight's umpire is no help either. Find a place for him. It's baseball Rocco. It's not that hard.

    Let's review! Get rid of Catro. Get rid of Kepler. Get rid of Santana. Get rid of Miranda. Even Correa was catching grief. Seems they've all worked it out to some degree. Now it's say goodbye to Kirilloff and Julien and Wallner. Patience please. I mean we have been extraordinary patient with Buck and now things are looking promising. Maybe we can spread out the patience a little.

    Such fun watching winning baseball, however had to watch the Royals feed cause apparently Fox Sports North blew a quad. Volume down. Good guys win!

    The analytical stuff makes me a little nuts cause I'm old, but I realize a story has to be written and I mostly agree with the solutions. That being said, my real issue is, why is there always an off day on the second day of the season!! Why God Why?

    No on all 3. I was never a big fan of Miguel Sano, however (and I know you can bend statistics all sorts of ways but just sayin), he has appeared in more games, had more hits, hit significantly more HRs, had more rbi, slugged higher, had a better OBP, and hit for almost the same BA, than Byron in the almost the same amount of time. Alas, he was terrible in the outfield (37 games)!!! Prayin for Buck to have just one healthy season.

    Enough overthinking and delving into God forsaken analytics. He will be fine. Catchers and coaches do what you're paid to do but please Jhoan, just locate your amazing 103 mph gift, stay healthy, and let's win a pennant.

    Thanks for your enlightened diagnosis, Doctor. For my money, Byron has been the LVTwin. Time to start saying it out loud. Byron is not going to have the career we had hoped. Not even close. Constantly injured, no defense, clogging up the DH flexibility. I'm empathetic in his regard, (I so want him to be great) but very frustrated and running out of patience as a fan.

    Im kinda over this up and down to St. Paul thing. Pick a team and stay with them awhile. I know injuries dictate roster moves but this is overkill. Castro is certainly not the problem as stated previously. I just think the players need to have some confidence that they can work through a poor stretch without facing the threat of a demotion. Or, maybe we could send Rocco down after a bad game.
