    One of the worst hitting teams in MLB came in here and kicked our ass twice...not good.

    True, it ain't much, but the trade return of Lugo...is better than having Alcala pitch again for us. He was just brutal.

    Real nice job by SWR, Topa, and Alcala. Alcala needs to be sent down right frickin now. He just pours gasoline on the fire every time.

    I don't suppose he learned to add 5-7 mph on his FB, a sweeper with a huge break, and picked up a nasty splitter? Nah...didn't think so.

    Paddack has been really good this season, but when he's on the hill...we do even less than usual at the plate. He deserves better. This team just flat out can't hit.

    Somewhere along the line, we need to figure out how to get some hits with the bases jacked, instead of HBP's or walks. It's incredible how ineffective we are with them loaded.

    With Pablo gone, it's time for Zebby, Festa, and maybe even SWR, to step up and show us something. Last night was a step in the right direction...even though it was against the A's.

    I wonder if the shoulder has been kind of bothering Pablo for a while. He certainly hasn't been at his best this season. Hopefully, some rest and rehab will quiet it down and get him back soon. We need him.

    His hits to RF are totally unintentional. He just isn't that type of hitter and never will be. He sure can turn on an inside heater though, and as long as he does that with some regularity, it's just fine.

    100% agree. I don't care what Gasper is doing in StP...if the choice is Gasper or Lewis, I keep Lewis up here.

    I'd like Royce to just come UP to Sano's level. He's not even at Keirsey level. Right now, he's completely lost. Whether it's physical, or mental, or both, I'm not going to pretend to know what the problem is, but it's clear there's something wrong. If some time in StP will help, then please do it.

    The pitching is kicking ass...the offense is getting their asses kicked. Another wasted pitching performance today.
