    Any updates on Buxton and Correa? I've been looking for something all morning and haven't seen any news, other than what was reported yesterday. That they're in the protocol.

    Kudos to Ryan for a nice start considering how he seems to be feeling. He definitely looks sick. They need to maybe get some fluids in him. Hopefully they get another few runs and the pen holds it for Joe.

    It's Jason Benetti and Tom Verducci. Benetti isn't too bad. In any case, they're light years better than the crapple tv guys.

    Nah...this is Ty Webb...he was in the movie "Caddyshack" about 45 years ago. He's in great shape for his age, and he can still be the ball.

    I haven't seen any lower velo, that isn't done intentionally. He still hits 100-102 when he wants to. That's plenty good enough.

    Yeah, baseball is a hard game. What's also hard...is to watch Eddie botch makeable plays at 2nd, or make poor throws, or stand at the plate like a statue and take called strikes. He showed some early promise as a hitter, but that seems to have disappeared. Without that aspect, he shouldn't be up here.

    I think the knee injuries...especially the second one, were kind of a fluke. Hey...here's an idea...let's throw him out in CF? What's the worst that could happen? Well..it did. No doubt they were extremely unfortunate for him and the team. Buku bad luck. The hammy can happen to anyone...happens all the time. To make him the full time DH would be as bad as making Buxton the full time DH was. Lewis has to play the field...especially now. We need him out there. If the long term plan for him is to play 1st...then let's get him some reps there. Don't make him the full time DH.

    Well...we've got our 1 run for the day. The only question is...what bullpen guy will come in after Ober and get hammered.

    Sure baseball has changed, but Rocco isn't even in the same universe as TK.

    We need a 2nd baseman that can actually field the ball and make accurate throws to 1st. Julien ain't that guy. He's got Roberto Duran's "Hands of Stone" at 2nd. If he comes up with that hot grounder, which was an entirely makeable play, it could have been a different game. I say "could". Probably not though because Rocco would have still used Louie and Alcala at some point. We are not a very good team and I doubt we can turn this Titanic around. If it wasn't for the White Sox, we'd be in last place easily.
