  1. I wouldn't mind another run or two...I just have a feeling we might need it.
  2. You don't have to be a cheapskate to pass on the ballpark food and drinks. Those are some pricey vittles!
  3. Sure would be nice if we could get a guy or two on before the dingers. We definitely hit a lot of solo's.
  4. Looks like Buck could miss the next game or two after that one.
  5. Gio's starting to figure it out.
  6. Kinetico commercials...yes. Laura Schara...no.
  7. Unfortunately, due to some health issues, I'm on a pretty restrictive diet. When I go to a game, I bring my own food from home, and nothing but water for me. I play it real safe these days. Getting old isn't all it's cracked up to be for some of us. I know...no fun in that, but those are the cards I've been dealt. Back when I could...I used to go for a few dogs and a beer.
  8. I think those two guys were named Statler and Waldorf, but that was a long time and many brain cells ago.
  9. Does it have anything to do with milking a cow?
  10. A lot better than Al Bundy did in his last two starts!
  11. Here we go...Urshela with the bases jacked!
  12. I'm not a real big Smeltzer fan, but he pitched a nice game for us. Kept us in the game. He went more than four innings too!
  13. Nothing I'd like better than for him start to swing the bat better
  14. I see what you're saying...but you also have to remember he's missed most of the last couple years. He's getting his sea legs back. Definitely a lot of talent there though.
  15. Well, I took the under on four innings for Smeltzer. I'll happily admit I was wrong. Now, let's score some runs!
  16. I could see Lewis eventually at 3rd, but not in the OF. If Correa somehow stays, that takes SS off the table, at least for a while. Lewis could handle short...we've had worse there. Polanco was no great shakes at short.
  17. Not much of a hitter, but he sure can pick it.
  18. That's sad to hear. West was a NY Met prospect that came here in the Viola trade, with Aguilera and Tapani. He never quite realized the potential he was thought to have. Still, he pitched 10 years in the bigs. RIP.
  19. Do you think it's coming from Fal-Vine? Obviously, if he's hurt, that's different, but if he isn't...he needs to be out there.
  20. I'm not really smart enough to figure out Rocco's plan on anything. I can't tell if there is one. My two cents are...if Buxton isn't hurt, he HAS to in the line up. If not in CF, which is definitely preferable, then as the DH.
  21. Since four innings seem to be about the norm lately for our starters...will Mr. Smeltzer make it to four? I think I'm gonna go with the under.
  22. Yeah...what's up with no Buxton again? I agree, this is getting somewhat ridiculous that he can't seem to play a couple games in a row.
  23. I just saw they he's getting called up to start tonight's game. Didn't see anything about a corresponding move. Maybe there isn't one.
  24. Gray grunts like a tennis pro!
