  1. He's 83 years old too! Still as sharp as they come.
  2. Before the game starts, I just want to wish everyone a very safe, enjoyable Memorial Day. Whatever your individual plans may be. May God bless you and yours. Please don't forget the true meaning of Memorial Day, is to honor all the brave men and women who gave their lives while serving in the U.S. military. GO TWINS!
  3. God forbid we differ from what was scheduled.
  4. According to MLB's site, this is the Twins line up for today's game. If it's wrong, you can blame them. Arraez 2B Garlick LF Polanco SS Sanchez C Larnach RF Urshela 3B Miranda 1B Gordon CF Jeffers DH.
  5. My two cents...Berrios is/was a good, solid starter...that's all. He was our best starter, nothing more. He was never going to be an "ace" no matter what. Even though he was pretty much hyped as one here. Doesn't matter what team he'd be pitching for, he's never going to be a #1 or #2 starter. The Twins made the right decision not to give him a whopper contract. Whether or not the players we got for him pan out, it was worth the chance.
  6. Agreed. How does that happen? Talk about bad luck. The guy comes back up, and immediately gets hurt. It was a sensational catch, and I was more worried about how he hit his head on the wall, not his knee. The way his glasses and hat came off, it looked like maybe a concussion. Hopefully, they don't find anything else when the swelling in his knee goes down.
  7. Yep, you're right...T-Bar is warming up.
  8. Unless he completely implodes...I think he's going to go the rest of the way.
  9. GEEZ...we're starting to look like a M.A.S.H. unit.
  10. You're absolutely correct.
  11. It'll be interesting to see who stays behind. I'm sure it will be reported, and there will be plenty of discussion about it.
  12. I sure hope that Lewis coming out is more precautionary than injury related. I'd almost rather see Buxton go down again, than Lewis.
  13. Bremer just said right knee soreness, is why Lewis was pulled.
  14. I was thinking the same thing. Looked like he hit his head as much as anything else.
  15. GREAT catch by Lewis in CF. Hopefully, he's ok.
  16. Battle of the grunters today...Grienke vs Gray.
  17. Wow! Lewis back up and starting in CF! Nice to see him back and to get his bat in the line up.
  18. I wonder if Kep isn't feeling well? Hope he doesn't test positive after the game today.
  19. Coulombe back on the IL and Cano back to StP. Minaya and Moran up.
  20. Buck looked kind of gimpy when he slowed up going into 2nd base.
  21. Well...that didn't take long.
