    I know it's a Monday night, and it's against Det, and there are other factors...cost, etc, but the attendance is really abysmal.

    One of these days, Archer is going to do his little crouch/bounce/dance off the mound, while turning his back to the plate after throwing a pitch, and the batter is going to line a shot right where the Sun don't shine!

    The Turtles / Flo & Eddie, had some great songs back in my day, which was a long time ago...Happy Together, It Ain't Me Babe, You Baby, She'd Rather Be With Me, She's My Girl, Elenore, You Showed Me...probably more I can't think of right now. Good stuff!

    Brings back memories...my son always loved those Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, Raphael, and Astudillo. I might be wrong on that last one.

    Whether or not Donaldson is a racist, or if he meant anything along those lines with his comment to Anderson, is anyone's guess. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. Bottom line is...you just can't say that type of thing no matter what. Joking or not. What I do think is.....he's a first class jerk and probably not the nicest guy in the clubhouse or dug out. The kind of guy you just don't want to be around. His rep is well known and well documented. I'm so glad he's not with us anymore. I'm more than happy to let him be some other teams problem.

    This guy HAS to be the closer. Sure, he's somewhat raw and he'll have some hiccups and blown saves along the way, but you can't teach what he's got. In the big picture, he's the one.

    Ober is pitching a nice game, and it looks like he's done now, but I hope not getting some runs for him in that 1st inning doesn't come back to haunt us. We need to get the "B" team on the board somehow.

    Must be some kind of minor epidemic...yesterday it was Winder to the IL with a right shoulder impingement. Today it's Stashak with the same thing. Maybe they can infect Bundy or Archer with it next!

    I can't say I care for both Buck AND CC sitting at the same time. If you're going to rest them, stagger it so they aren't sitting out the same game(s). Hopefully they aren't in the dug out wearing sweats and could play if it was necessary. It's definitely nice to see Larnach back.

    If Donaldson really did say, what he was reported by the White Sox to have said, he won't have anyone on the Yankees sticking up for him. It'll be interesting to see what develops with this story. This is just another example of his abrasive personality and what a "great" guy he is. Sure, he's had some good seasons, but he's also got a well deserved rep. There's a reason he's been on six different teams in 12 years. I couldn't wait to see him gone from here and was elated when he got traded to NY. He won't last long there either.
