  1. I think May and Romo will stay. Odorizzi, Gonzalez, Adrianza, Hill and Bailey will leave. Clippard and Cruz will be asked to stay. Rosario will be traded.
  2. Twins may want to extend Cruz as long as he wants to play the game.
  3. Let Romo or Duffey close for now. Rogers, May, Clippard and Stashak can help set up. Alcala and Smeltzer can be the long relievers. Alcala can certainly pitch in close games. Wisler, Thielbar and Gearrin can be useful.
  4. SELL SELL SELL. RELEASE RELEASE RELEASE. That's all I want to say.
  5. Slegers has been inconsistent at best, Littell has been a disaster, Duffey is just a long reliever at best, Thorpe and Stewart have not reached the major and I think both are overrated. I believe only Gonsalves, Romero and Graterol are legit.
  6. Maybe that's why Belisle has been well liked in the bullpen. He is certainly a good team player.
  7. Cave wasn't able to make the play and then he completely gave up. That's just the attitude of the team. I think the FO needs to trade Dozier, Lynn, Santana, Duke, Rodney, Grossman and then release or trade Morrison, Wilson, Belisle and Motter. Call up Buxton, Sano, Gordon, Vargas, Graterol, Moya, J Reed, Duffey, Mejia and Romero.
  8. To be fair, Dozier has demonstrated the ability to get on base and Escobar has demonstrated the ability to drive in runs when RISP. Escobar just started to show more power when getting regular AB.
  9. I only look at batting avg when RISP because that's what matters the most.
  10. He's been hitting mostly leadoff and he's been extremely durable. That explains the stats. He is one of the worst hitters when RISP. If that makes him a superstar, I don't know what else to say.
  11. Are you sure Dozier is the best player over a period of 4 years heading into this year? The best player hardly performs when it matters? Escobar and Mauer have been doing way better when RISP. I am still not sure we can say they are the best players.
  12. Are you sure it's just one game? The stats shows Dozier rarely performs when it matters throughout his career.
  13. I don't understand why people would like someone who hardly performs when it matters. This game is about scoring runs not stats.
  14. So you think it's okay to perform like that. Cave also had a bad game tonight. 4 Ks I think.
  15. Dozier surely has a negative effect in the game for the Twins. When runners were on the base, he either hit into DP or failed to move the runners over. That's pathetic hitting.
  16. Dozier is not doing much when it matters in today's game.
  17. If he can drive runners in when it matters, he would be greatly appreciated. Example: last game.
  18. What really matters is the ability to drive runners in. That's Dozier's weakness. The Twins certainly should trade Dozier for the best return possible.
  19. Who do you want when RISP? Dozier is probably the last player I want in that situation.
  20. They moved him because there were too many catchers in AAA and they needed his bat in their lineup. There are still 2 or 3 catchers in AAA right now.
  21. This is why I like Escobar. This season when RISP Escobar bats .367 with 5 HRs and 43 RBIs. That's clutch. Dozier is absolutely clutch in today's game.
