    Gibson's in the hot tub. He'll throw the first three innings tonight, then Pelfrey for four, followed by Duensing, Tonkin and Fein to close it out. Somehow we have to get another starter a win.

    It's nice to see Kubel get off to a hot start like he has. He can't possibly keep it up but could have a very nice season which will lead to more wins, as his fast start has. Mauers' K's worry me alot. Plouffe has really surprised me so far. No way did I see it coming, and hope it continues. If it does, I was dead wrong about him on some things. I still think he's the luckiest man in the world though.

    Way under 12. I'd go with the 3, but it's nice to see them at .500 now. And nice to see the starters have success the last 3 games, and Perkins get on track. Somehow we've scored alot of runs so far but I just can't see how that will continue.

    No, the Twins shouldn't commit to any long term deals in the shape they are in. In a couple of years when Gardy and his staff are gone and new blood takes over, then maybe give it some thought. There'll be alot of turnover here for the run for a hun in 2018.

    I'm in the minority here, but glad we signed Pelf. Now Nolasco is a different story. He looks like he's just getting in his 4 innings and collecting a paycheck. If he starts off with another 4 starts like he's had, he's gotta go.

    Tie game and a pitch to take the other way. Shouldn't even be thinking of a home run, just get a run in.

    Polanco still has some rust to clean up. Took a very bad at bat last night with the bases loaded and one out. Tried to pull and hit into a double play 3rd to home to 1st. I was standing with a roving coach at the time and he was upset. Walker swings and misses alot, but at least he's taking his cuts.

    Ok, Twins have 5 homers, Texas 4 and KC 1.

    Strong wind blowing out makes for long fly balls. I just picked up 8 from across the street into the high school this morning and tossed 'em back. And no strong wind either for these extended guys. Time for the Twins to show some power. Are we last in homers this year?
