  1. So we don't score after the 2nd inning. If I'd of kept snoozing who knows what the score would of been. Nice win, again today.
  2. So just how many innings can Nolasco last today? I'll give him 5 at most.
  3. That's when Bremer woke me up.
  4. It's 1-0 and I dozed off. Wake up and it's 7-0, and I wasn't out that long!
  5. Since we can't score after the 3rd inning, best get on the board early and then pray for rain.
  6. Maybe, maybe not. But I'm patient.
  7. We quit scoring, they quit answering, ball game!
  8. I suppose so, as he's certainly not fast. However a good read there and Buxton scores, and Santana is on 3rd, and speedy gets to 2nd.
  9. He's got to read that ball better. That was bad.
  10. If we'd just quit scoring maybe they'd quit answering.
  11. Just a feeling from afar, but I think Max is finally healthy this year. So many nagging injuries in the past seasons.
  12. Perkins has been nail biting his last few appearance, so holding him was the correct move IMO. And Neil Allen probably had a lot to say about the use of the pen. That's why Mollie's got him and Mollie listens.
  13. Attention Marketing Department: After every Twins home game win at Target Field in the month of June a Dance Party will follow the game! They can borrow my Malt Shop Memories CD's.
  14. This team just has me confused! How many teams go scoreless for 10 innings a win a game? And we went another 6 or so scoreless the game before and came out on top. It really doesn't even seem like a team to me, more like a bunch of guys that get along together, are having fun and go out and play together. The lineups change daily, everyone gets to play. Win the game and have a dance party, why not? I give Torii a ton of credit for instilling life into what's been a downer clubhouse. He's always smiling and having fun, and it's rubber off on all of them. Neil Allen has brought a fresh attitude and new mentality to the pitching staff. He might be the best hire here since Sam Mele! Molitor is getting his feet wet managing, and doing a lot more right than not while still learning. i think we're playing over our heads, but who knows, maybe we keep it up. It sure is fun for now.
  15. Nice win, hard earned and a few really good showing by some guys. Mollie pushed the right buttons tonight.
  16. Thanks, BK. I too like the Pirates and this series is fun to watch. They've got a bunch of free swingers so if Pelfrey has his pitches moving tonight he may get more K's.
  17. I can't change mine, I've got money on no more than 71 wins.
  18. May's got the short string here. More time in AAA wouldn't do him any harm.
  19. I'm scratching my head on this move.
  20. Well that is the rotation, so once the game starts ..........
  21. Not baseball weather here on the north shore. Hopefully better in the Twin Cities as there is really nothing to do here but look out the window and watch a Twins game.
  22. I'll give Harrison some love here, and the nod. 5 rbi's is an excellent night.
  23. Loved the question from Jack to Dick, " Why is it some of the best closers in baseball are tough to watch". Perk certainly is one of them, but we win again!
  24. So what's on the level here, the water or the house?
  25. One day during spring training each year some oil company, maybe vavaline, sets up a display. They have a wheel you spin and win prizes like t-shirts, seat cushions, hats, oil etc and a few special prizes. This year the special prizes were an autographed baseball. A friend won that and got a Duensing signed ball. He immediately sent it home with me to try to get the signature off. Magic eraser works wonders and the next day I gave him back a clean ball. He went and got someone else to sign it. That was the beginning of the end for Duensing.
