  1. No he's not an ace. Not many teams have an ace, period. We haven't had an ace since Johan.
  2. I must be lucky. I have no idea who the Olsen twins are, but will admit, in my drinking younger days I've done worse.
  3. What a shame, the Whities lost. And now post a 3-6 record.
  4. He owes Kluber a lot of money then, doesn't he. Maybe he can hit tonight and get back near .200.
  5. It certainly helps when we hit the long ball.
  6. Vargas showed his power from the right side. So did poof.
  7. Miracle lose in 11th, 3-1. So I'm here for the 9th.
  8. So I've got the choice, watch Gibson on gameday or watch Stewart in person. Think I'll do the person gig.
  9. I've felt for a couple of months now, after speaking with one involved, that next year will bring change. Dougie Baseball will NOT be managing in the minors next year. I can see, if the Twins want to keep Doug in the organization, one of several things taking place. TR resigns, Molly takes his job and Doug becomes the new manager, or at least Molly stays managing and Doug is brought up to coach with the chance to eventually manage the team..
  10. A Silver Lining for me is reading this forum first, then going to the Minor League forum and reading some good news.
  11. Might as well set the bar low. Set it high and get disappointed or set it low and be pleased. Granted, I haven't seen him play alot, no one has the last couple of years. I'm not sure ordinary and average equate, But nothing I've seen in person makes him stand out from others except his speed. He's fast on the basepaths, and in the outfield, but needs work on taking routes. The more he plays the better he should get at thiat. Speed is one thing that can't be taught. I'm hopefull of the hype, but remain cautious.
  12. You can coach and coach and coach, but it won't do a bit of good with a few of these guys. It's mind blowing the money these guys make to play like this.
  13. Hicks is better off in Rochester. At least he can have some fun there and enjoy some wins. If they called him up now he'd probably refuse.
  14. Are the boo birds out yet? I'll be half this crowd doesn't show up again this year.
  15. Hello JR, welcome to the sacks jammed.
  16. Poof got a hit, just for me, and raised his average up to Torii's!
  17. Mays getting tired. Lost 4 mph on his fastball, and over 70 pitches. He won't finish the inning.
  18. Nothing. He's just not any good.
  19. How come no error on the Dozier/Santana play? Home cookin'?
  20. And here comes another 4 seamer.
  21. Poof went that inning, but at least we scored.
  22. 4 seam fastballs at 94, a lot of them by May so far. Gonna have to mix it up eventually. Nice start.
