  1. In this one, Santana got the bird..........twice, and that was that.
  2. I'll watch one more half inning.
  3. Well now. I surely must turn this game off, just don't know when.
  4. I think it was 8, 6 and 4. Only to add on to that today. I've wasted the last couple nights watching this el foldo act so might forget this is a day game.
  5. Watch all the way thru to the second cut and you can seem him take his eyes off the ball and glance toward home or up the 3rd base line. Clearly he was going home with it.
  6. If we need a closer tonight it might be May, is certainly won't be Perkins.
  7. It looked to me he looked at the runner on 3rd and took his eye off the ball and booted it.
  8. 1, 2, 3............here it is!
  9. I didn't give us much of a chance when we didn't score in the 10th, but when Perkins came in I gave us no chance.
  10. Our golf sup up here curls and has gone to Worlds the last couple years. Scotland last year and she got to play St Andrews. Russia this year, and came in 3rd. It's a shame we can score all these runs to have Gibson give them back. Sit him down now and we win the bullpen battle.
  11. PGA has also got my interest today, but I do want to see Sano meet a 97 mph fastball.
  12. With Gibson's and Pelfrey's starts, if that continues with Santana going at least 6 innings, it could be a bullpen start Saturday.
  13. I was so looking forward to seeing Sano in the bigs since the first day I met him when he was 16 years old. It really hurt when he lost a season, but now he's here and even doing better than I had imagined. Time fly's. He'll be around for a long time and could set some hard to reach records. Seeing this is really satisfying.
  14. It's the Hicks-Sano show! Fun..........
  15. Plouffe doesn't like fielding balls right at him. He might be perfect olaying the pitchers on our team with their wildness.
  16. If the Twins could go .500 in those 18 games they'd probably pick up 1.5 games and have a dash to the finish in Sept. It's highly unlikely they can split those games though the way they are playing.
  17. Gosh, Sano is fun to watch, and only going to get better.
  18. If Torii wants to play, then yes, I think we'll sign him. My crystal ball says he stays as an outfield coach/dh bench player leading to a coach the following season.
  19. Plouffe likely brings back the best return and he shouldn't be part of the future, so take someone that has a chance to be here for next 5, 6 years in return. Pelfrey and Nunez probably are both headed somewhere.
  20. 1. Playing in AAA has no less wear on his injury than in the majors. Saying that somehow he is less likely to get hurt here, or you can swing softer or something.....bunk. That is bunk. Playing in AAA will have more wear on his injury as he will be making more contact with the ball than he would with the Twins.
