  1. That's interesting. I didn't see the pinky finger but noticed the wrist angle right away. But man, it would take some fantastic eyesight to see that and get back to the release point in a fraction of a second.
  2. That's fine, you all think what you want, but I'd of done the same thing, so fire me! And it worked.
  3. And the sacrifice paid off again.
  4. Keep it up Wimmers, so far so good!
  5. Or, he hits into the dp, and the following popup ends the inning. Pelfrey is pitching, poor it on and play for 2 more runs, he's on a pitch count. I sac every time in that situation.
  6. Snap judgement not listening. It was the right thing to do.
  7. He had Centeno sacrifice and it lead to 2 runs which we would not have scored. Could have had Centeno sac again next at bat but didn't and Centeno hit into a dp.
  8. I thought the Centeno bunt was ok, the Rosario one was.
  9. I'll be listening to Dan and Corey today. I'm so sick of hearing Bert anyway, so a good change.
  10. Ya, it's gone on so long it's hard to even try to remember this sh!t.
  11. I just wonder how Molitor would have done with a decent team. The first two months the pitching wasn't so bad, but no one could hit a lick. Molly constantly reworked the lineup looking for any spark to get it going. Then, the pitching went south, never to return, as the bats finally showed some life. The season was lost. Molly has aged about 5 years and one wonders if he would even want the job next season. It's very obvious the organization has had false expectations of it's talent in the minor league levels. It just goes back to "hope" things went as they expected and hope doesn't cut it, and hasn't. Major changes are needed and even with that it might be a long stretch before the Twins are competitive again.
  12. One rubber arm can't make it thru 4 innings.
  13. We need another 9 wins. I could see 7, but 9? Have we got that many rubber arms left?
  14. I don't see anything sad here. May really hasn't shown much anyway and just may never work out. Kind of Gibson like, no consistency, clunkers all over the place and throw in a good game. We've got to many of these type pitchers.
  15. As it stands now, I'd build around Sano, Kepler, Buxton and Dozier, like some have stated. These players would be untouchable along with Berrios. I see no sense in trading guys we've developed in the minors who have futures in the majors.
  16. I'm surprised by Gibson tonight, which is a good thing.
  17. Well, they have to try. I can't imagine anything that would work, but that's probably as good as it can get.
  18. He was safe, got the back of the plate, but bad throw by Esco. Buxtons throw was just as close from center.
  19. I think the rhyme or reason with Polanco is see how he fairs. Not much to judge him by if he didn't play there in the minors, and he seems to have a decent bat, so no better time to get extended time at ss and see how it shakes out.
  20. All eyes are upon you!
  21. The Packers since I was young, long before there were Vikings. But I do root for the Vikes when they aren't playing the Pack. Used to go to a lot of Vikings games out at the old Met. Many fun times!
  22. Sorry, but it'll be us obnoxious fans heading to the Super Bowl this year.
  23. I'm torn between trading him or not. But I certainly don't want to see another season like this one. So, if we keep him, he can play an adequate 2nd base and provide much needed offense. If he goes, we'd best get a top arm, and lose some offense. The to be named powers of this organization just may make changes none of us have imagined. As it seems we do over-value some players where the rest of the world might not. It should be a very interesting off season with a whole lot of head scratching, and disagreeing on TD for sure. This place could blow up.
