  1. Back in the days of Clear Channel radio, one could listen to some games in cities a goodly distance away and hear how the other teams announcers handled the game. Long gone now sadly.
  2. On July 6, 2024, Minnesota Twins third baseman Jose Miranda tied the MLB record for consecutive hits with a single in the fourth inning against the Astros. Miranda's 12th straight hit tied the record set by Walt Dropo (1952), Pinky Higgins (1938), and Johnny Kling (1902). Miranda's streak also made him the only player in the Expansion Era (since 1961) to achieve this feat. Numbers can be deceiving.
  3. IF the Twins do not win now, the season is probably in the toilet.
  4. Lee swings at some very off the plate pitches.
  5. Jeffers still has problems to his right.
  6. Twins had best sign France for next year.

  8. At this point the Twins lead is Grand Slam proof, but a couple more would be good.
  9. If he had , he might have touched it with his bat. With batting gloves most , if not all wear, throwing the bat at it and saying it slipped , probably would not work.
  10. How many Twins still slide the normal way?
  11. As Clemens walks down the line praying it stays fair.
  12. Who do you think will reach the Mendoza line first, Wallner or Vazquez?
  13. Game over, let the whining and moaning begin.
  14. A Breakthrough Second Half Is Still on the Table for the Minnesota Twins But then comes the traditional Sept. SNAFU.
