    Gasper is doing better than Jeffers did his first year catching; now Gasper's bat, not sure what happened. He was "raking" as they say in AAA, but after he was injured, his bat in AAA was not there any more.

    I hope they bring the ENTIRE current Major league team, including Julien, plus Bride and Miranda to Spring Training and keep the best ALL SEASON in the year of our Lord TwoThousand and TwentySix.

    LOL-They brought Lewis up out of AAA this year while he had a .129 average there. If Fitz had as many at bat in the Bigs as Lewis has had, he would probably look just as good, if not better, right now as Lewis does , only with a much better glove.

    His attitude pretty much tells me , he is now, what he is, although having Baldelli's version of head coach is a possible part of that problem.

    I see your point, but IF they have trouble at AAA, it does make the player a bit of a - let's hope and see. I personally, would put glove talent above K rate for concern, although this counts more at catcher and short stop.

    For me, it is not losing, it is the lack of hitting to at least make the game interesting. If the Twins were losing 1-0, that would entertaining as pitcher duels, but they are NOT!

    Rooker - glove wise, probably, bat wise, No. Rooker figured out Major league pitching after a horrid start; Lewis was a flash in the pan who is now a fizzle. Hendriks is a pitcher, zero analogy.

    It is called Winning games, not acting like another AAA team where they learn the rookies cannot handle Major league baseball. All the hype for bring up -- take your pick of most of the rookies the past five years -- has turned out to be as sweet as bovine excrement. Keaschall , May be a winner, Jenkins is a crap-shoot, not another sure thing like Witt Jr. or De La Cruz. All the so called blocking is silly blabber; if a player is good enough he will make it to the Big League, maybe early, if not, he will not.

    Do another 2019 and bring in quality veterans ,BUT, find a Quality SS, move Lee to 3rd and let Lewis, if he is still here, be nothing more than back-up.

    Jeffers, Lewis, Wallner are mediocre at their best times; you do not extend mediocrity , more than one year, with possibility of a second.
