His bat and glove are no better than Lee in AAA, and he has not been any better in the Majors.

😄I do not know what world you live in but not one of those came even close to failing, period, much less miserably, when they came up for Minn., 😆 Try again.

People whose whole life is baseball know when they - probably - are ready, vs. coming up because there is no better option. A high strike out rate, or sub-Mendoza Line batting average vs. AAA pitching IS a big thing that will keep them in the Minors longer. Keaschall heading towards Lewis type play is some thing I did Not expect and has dimmed my view on Saints boys. Journey man veterans showing up after the season started, shows , some times, they think there is a better option.

LOL, yeah, that is why Outman , Clemens and Larnach were/are mentioned SO often for week after week as to OH WHY, OH WHY are they here , LOL. I do not live in the world of wishful thinking, wonder boy rookies, you and so many do.
  6. RpR
If they are good enough, their time will come, no matter how much some people whine.
  7. RpR
    Larnach should play every game.

A fine way for Ober to win his game.

Time for Bell to earn his pay.
  11. RpR
HMM, then why does Clemens have an OPS of .674 and Lewis an OPS of .569. - Oh wait, it is Lewis BA of .167 vs Clemens BA of .202. Clemens is too close to the Mendoza line.
  12. RpR
Hmm - North, because they would send him to The Ukraine and then he could defect and come back to Minnesota a new man.
  13. RpR
Rodriguez is not any better than Wallner ; Roden, there is a chance but that is still wishful thinking.
  14. RpR
Send Lewis to Korea with him.
  15. RpR
Who needs hits when the Twins have the Flash brothers.
  16. RpR
Yeah but he is doing so well compared to Bell. 😆
  17. RpR
Maybe a trip to Mickey's Diner and get him a chocolate malt.
  18. RpR
    Because they think so.

LOL, this is the Big Leagues. Yeah bring them up so they can miserably fail, brilliant. This is the real world , not The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

This is not training school, what is best, is what is for the team. They have A-AA-AAA and the Mexican League to get their selves developed..

I rarely buy a newspaper, although , the baseball results each day, are the only reason I do, as the rest of the Trib. is a bad joke, but coverage of the Twins on WCCO , the dude acts as if he does it only because he has to and would rather not. Of course the Viqueens who have not really been any better than the Twins, get news time near every darn day of the week, or so it seems. Even the hockey and basketball team when the stunk, got better coverage.

He is not an iron glove such as Julien was, but while he has instances where looks fairly good, on the whole he is too slow to be a Short Stop. Oddly, at Third Base in 2024, he had his worst fielding percentage but his Zone and DRS numbers were all Positive to the best he ever had. The only year all his numbers were positive and some in double digits. Right now Lewis fielding numbers at Third Base are dropping every year.

NO, Rodriguez has a K rate similar to Wallner, and no better glove. Although, Wally should be sent down , if for no other reason than shock therapy and give Rodriguez a taste of Major League pitching, although , that, could be the wrong type of shock therapy for a rookie.

Opinions here are very, very much like fathers gushing about their sons, where the players they trash are the sons of neighborhood derelicts. It covers players and other teams; right now the West Sacramento Athletics , who last year it was implied should not be in the majors, have a record I have little doubt posters here would like very much.
