    The Twins, especially he front office, want to win games, not be a AAA club for wannabes. He made one good fielding play yesterday, AAA would be a good place to learn to do more of that. Gardenhire seems to inspire the gents; Baldelli want to be their drinking buddy.

    Lewis and Wallner are fortunate Vazquez has forgotten how to hit the ball, as this way they are not fighting to see who has the lowest batting average.

    It was a team with a true top level pitcher, and nothing more. It was not a blow-out like earlier games, which did show serious Twins problems.

    Castro in the outfield - Oh my! Lee at 2nd, his worst fielding position, brilliant.

    At the end of the game, the ESPN announcer said the Twins pitching was not bad, but had two pitches that put the game away. Lack of hitting except by France and Bader plus Vazquez walk , were the only offensive plus things; the so called best of the Twins batters, did not earn their titles that day.
