  1. Why Larnach is still up makes no sense; so many here think the Twins are just an extension of AAA, so even I think at this point try some rookies in Left field who have good arms. Jeffers being no. 1 catcher was the worst mistake the Twins have made in a long, long time.
  2. If Correa plays short like Ozzie Smith, I am VERY happy.
  3. Not even close; Eddie would have done it standing still, thirty feet farther back and it would not have bounced. Doumit and Rosario are the only two Twins I remember, not that there were not others, that could do that; Gordon has hustle, and never gives up, so Twins would be fools to not keep him.
  4. If they can take series , early on, against a top team, that will boost their psyche more than losing to lower team screws it up.
  5. He is, as long as he plays like Ozzie Smith, he was not hired as a Designated batter. (if they do not get a hit, they are just batters.)
  6. Trade Larnach and Kiriloff for Cruz. They have pro-experience rookies in the Minors that can fill in till they get some one/s in left field who has an arm and is not slow.
  7. Yes, leave them in the Minors where they can maybe show they will not screw up the Major league season.
  8. Larnach is no better than last year and is not a good fielder in left field.
  9. He could, with experience from not being tossed to the wolves but being brought up slowly, turn into another Ceasar Tovar.
  10. They need SS fielding , good bat would be nice but makes little difference.
  11. Dr. Smith pitched another excellent game. They need a player named Will Robinson because then Sano could come waling out waving his arms shouting: Danger Will Robinson - Danger Will Robinson, he looks the part.
  12. As Smalley said, sure is good they are not hitting those home runs people were complaining about.
  13. Yup, their fielding is the same but I am sure glad we got Correa instead of Simmons.?
  14. Good hitters used to, and probably still can, control their bat to get a deliberate bloop hit.
  15. I presume I am a lot older than most of you but there used to be a lot of games like this and I do not expect the Twins to suddenly go to hell. I do not care if neither team gets another hit if the Twins win.
  16. Twins are fielding very well today, if they can't hit, at least they are doing the basics well.
  17. He is having a good game, throws an accurate but short throw, is this not how they are expected to play?
  18. Weather has zip to do with it, other teams are no more used to than the Twins (but the Vikings are now a wussy warm weather club)
  19. Send Larnach down and teach Celestino how to play Left Field.
