  1. Yep 35 errors in 2015 and 20 errors in 2018 means he is so much better than Simmons., he may challenge Polanco at 2nd though.
  2. I will unsay about Correa being no better than Polanco, as far as errors go, but other wise he is lacking especially in range, while Baez is minor league level at short stop with his Rtot and Rdrs numbers this year of 1 and -1 with per yr number of 10 and -13 while Simmons were 14-14 and 16-15 -- Seager came in at 1-0 and -1-0. Semien's numbers are just as lacking compared to Simmons, and his bat is NO better then Simmons while NONE of them are in the same league of fielding ability as Simmons.
  3. Correa did rank better than Simmons in some categories from Baseball Ref. but his life numbers are lower especially in range; better bet on Simmons having a bad year, than hoping Correa will get better.
  4. Yep, Arraez gets on -- Donaldson homer; Astudillo gets on -- Cruz homer -- game over with Cruz hopping down the first base line.
  5. Jeffers is not as good a catcher as Astudillo but Willians got few chances this year, while Jeffers was continually chasing balls that go by him.
  6. Correa is no better at Short than Polanco, good grief! Non on that list would be as good defensively as Simmons and fielding is where the Twins are really hurting, although strike out kings in the outfield is a worry.
  7. You said:" Fortunately for the Twins, Jeffers has a real chance at being one of those guys next year. " Based on what statistic?
  8. Arraez's fielding is sub-par, cut/trade him.
  9. Based on what statistic?
  10. LOL, yep Arraez, I would love to see more games where Twins lose without giving up a hit as Arraez throws the ball into right field, BRILLIANT. You like the adage but would use Keystone Cops for infielders, LOL ? You are correct on Cruz.
  11. Nope, he was dissing Ashbury.
  12. You would be just as satisfied if they had lost 100 or more games, as other last place teams did, fascinating.
  13. Larnach has shown he belongs in AAA, maybe for life; Arraez is a poor fielder and Twins need defense , not offense. Trade away the defense and actually the offense, and it will be a long, long time before the Twins are more than an after though in baseball.
  14. It it is not that long ago the Twins had an excellent game just and were happy to not have lost 100 games , SO, they are ten game better than then.?
  15. Rooker showed in his last game he either is forever AAA, or had better learn how field the ball.
  16. And runs and games, so change it.
  17. Yup. They blame the pitcher for a wild pitch but Jeffers is the reason they get away; he chased a lot balls this season a GOOD catcher would have blocked. The Announcers said same.
  18. Jeffers defense is not major league level and the Twins NEED defense.
  19. No their fielding ability like an old man with a bad knee.?
  20. Yeah like Celestino, Larnach and Rooker that will really bolster the line-up; good grief.
  21. Gant did not lose it, Rooker's Cluster-f in the outfield did.
  22. Where? In the out field , even with his speed he is lacking, for the infield? This game showed why Arraez is a mediocre infielder on his best days, and Polanco should never play SS, but Gordon is no better at either much less every day.
  23. People pay to see their team win, not play some business BS.
