    I am putting this here as I do not call a Player a Twin unless he is in the majors so this applies to gents who were called up but went back to AAA. Is it possible for a Minor League, AAA, player to spend near his entire career in the minors? The gent who has the Minor League home run record, moved around some but spent most of his time with the same org.

    This is wishful hoping. Hoping Polanco comes back like he was, hoping Kirilloff, Lewis , much less Lee, do not turn out like Julien, or worse like Hicks or Rooker. Twins rookies have not had any where near the ability so many Nostradamus seers have said they would be. The ability to endure (not end up on injured list) is also a main part of a rookies stats.,, one where Gordon has show greater ability. If the title said rookies who -- might help -- that -- could be true, but to say they are some sort of sure thing, wishful thinking.

    His defnse numbers look solid, not gold glove level but no negatives.

    Twins need Gallo's bat badly, he will not be sitting on the bench; same for Taylor and Solano. Baldelli pretty much , if you are here, you will play, to some degree, but with the cold bats right now, one will earn or lose being on the field. There is no reason to play Kirilloff unless some one has a long slump. Polanco???

    Unless Julien, Larnach and Miranda suddenly get a lot better he will stay when the hurt boys come back. Julien is going back to the Saints. Most of the bruhaha about Kiriloff is wishful thinking at this point so this team may change little from what it is now. With the current team strike out rate, Gordon is safe for now.

    Kirilloff and Lewis have to EARN playing time ; right now they are unknown rookies, who Twins front office are not just another version of Rooker or Badoo. Hot start before flailing away became the norm.

    Farmer will take over third when/if Miranda goes down for more practice with the Saints.

    Garlick 2022 The only thing that keeps Larnach here over Garlick is Larnach is a better fielder. Larnach's numbers last year were not really any better than Garlick's

    His one K verses 4 for Buxton, so Buxton joins him on the bench?

    I watched the game analasyse last night on MLB; they showed all of the Yankees home runs, Correa's at bats and never mentioned Garlick, but, after that they had a long bit on Ryan's new pitch. The called it a Sweeper.

    Vasquez would be a big help for the Twins, but how does a guy hit 20 some home runs , one year, and not even double gits in any of the rest? Well, I looked at his strike out rate, hmmm.

    It seems Sanchez does not want to be with the Twins (I wonder why) and Jeffers should be catcher no. 3 as even if his bat improves, I truly doubt his defense will ever be even average. They need a top line catcher, so opponents know that in at least x percent of the games it is not run-at-will. All the so-and -so out of the minors will be just great is bloviating; ten or so years ago , Buxton, Hicks, Sano were going to save the Twins, yeah right. One problem the that no quick fix will solve, even when the Twins were well in the lead this summer, the talking heads on news sports, treated them as a side note; mention of the Vikings got near as much blah, blah, blah all summer on the channels I watched.

    If the Twins are going put their future in supposedly up and coming rookies, they will be treading water for a long, long time from what has come up in the past ten years. At that of the boys from the Twins wannbe Minors, Larnach and only one other seem, at this point, of maybe being the read deal, due to hard work on Larnach's part, and simple talent for the other.

    IF Correa starys with the twins, Miranda will have a mentor just as Sano did with Cruz; the way Twins rookies are playing with the organizations coaches, I feel bad for Miranda if Correa leaves.
