  1. If little Kwan was not such a fantastic but short fielder, the game maybe would not be over. That little guy is impressive.
  2. Does not matter much but Lewis base running skills need some work.
  3. Wallner has: hit by a pitch, a hit, and a strike out, if he gets a walk he has batted for the cycle. I do like Lewis beard and eye shade; he looks like son of Alice Cooper.
  4. To paraphrase Garret Morris: Basaball been bery, bery good to him, some times. Not every one is Ted Williams, or even close.
  5. It was just a few gaves back where Lewis stopped and went down on his knees, then fell flat on his face trying to get back to first and was tagged on the helmet by a kindly First Baseman. It happens, although this year it seems to be more common, league wide.
  6. Gallos strike outs are moronic, I agree, some one should tell him if he does not stop swing at ghosts his days are numbered; this is the Twins, NOT other teams. For every Elly De La Cruz there are four dozen Hicks and Rookers; bringing an untested rookie up and hoping for the best is a fools folly. Of course Matin could be another Jake Cave ; he came up the first year and was absolutely great, then he burnt out. That was not a smart move.
  7. It has every thing with the conversation, there is ZERO reason to bring him here, end of story. The Twins are not an extended AAA team, they are a team trying to get into the World Series.
  8. The infatuation with the AAA rookies, or some in AA is incredible , just incredible. Next spring, they get their chances;
  9. You ignore the fact that if he is good enough he WILL be at spring training showing his stuff, simple as that.
  10. So what? It is AAA pitching not major league pitching, bring him up and let him be made a joke by Major League pitchers? Jeffers and Wallner went 0-5 in the last game, and they have experience.
  11. You are nit-picking It seems the young guys are also turning into versions of Joey Gallo, Lewis home run was great, just like Joey's dingers are, the other 5 at bats were outs were also just like Joey. AT that Solano was 2-4, Polanco 2-6, Kepler 2-2 with Jeffers 0-5, Wallner 0-5 so dissing the vets carries no weight.
  12. Julien , Kepler and Polanco were the entire Twins offense.
  13. What is the record for the greatest number of runs scored by walks in a row? Is there a WRA walks run average?
  14. Twins are back to their old tricks
  15. Vazquez is showing why he was hired.
  16. He had the home run last night but the other four were strike outs.
  17. Except for the extra innings asininity!
  18. I have often wondered with this pitch framing bs, if umpires decide with the catcher moving his glove to supposedly fool an umpire into calling a ball a strike, the umpire figures two can play that game and widens or shrinks the strike zone to spite the catcher.
  19. Twins had only 9k, but 4 were by Julien, including one againt the non-pitcher pitcher, although the way Kepler was watching strikes go by I though he might K.
  20. Pilling on is not good, the Rangers may take revenge tomorrow .
  21. I am surprised Kep hit that one out, he did not seem to be really into facing this gent.
  22. Ah, a rookies 9th inning first home run gave Detroit the win over Houston
