  1. One error ever 11 games at 2nd base and One error ever 5 games at 3rd base. Castro had one error every 20 games at all his positions combined.
  2. Replace Vazquez and Castro with what, for the most part inept rookies? The Twins have nothing coming up to replace Vazquez while Jeffers is a just plain lousy catcher. Castro does not exceed at any thing but he is at least equal to the options, and he can play mulitiple spots where the rookies have a hard time playing one. Maybe Helman and Keirsey Jr. will come up and have a Cave first year, but Cave regressed after his first year, probably because pitchers figured him out and he could not address that. Or they could come up like most have the past few years and at best, be one-trick ponies.
  3. Rooker has played 70 games in the outfield in the past two years. IF, if the Twins had kept him he would be the new full time DH, which would mean a lot of other players would have been sitting on the bench, all the time (Buxton) the bench is not big enough.
  4. Hopefully Julien gets traded or they do like they did with Garlick , put him in AAA and leave him there. Miranda is better, to a degree, at 3rd than Lewis, so leave him there. Larnach is a outfielder, for which there is no replacement, at this point but at that, Bell would be a massive hole at 1st base.
  5. If Santana moves on, they will sign a better than average Veteran to replace him. They badly need a 2nd baseman , could pick-up one there as right now only Martin does not look incompetent there. Right now their defense looks the worst it has been for years for 2025, I am sure the FO sees this.
  6. His season turned around, pretty much, after he went on and then came off of the IL.
  7. Miss? Not hard to miss when the gun you wanted to keep only shot blanks.
  8. In 2021 when Rooker and Garlick were both on the team and played; Garlick had an OPS of .745, Rooker had an OPS of .688. In Left field; Rooker had massive hole in his glove, Garlick had no hole at all. So, bye, bye Rooker.
  9. NO. It would probably a redo of a Margot conundrum.
  10. Rooker had a hole in his glove. He was sent off to find his spot and he did, not a loss on either side.
  11. Last yezr, Julien, made Cave and Margot look like All-Stars. If Julien does not stay in AAA , at best, as so many want to espouse here, the Twins do not want to win. E.R., wait and see; so very many made Lewis a blooming swan, but he has turned into a Coot.
  12. A good replacement for Julien; he strikes out as often and fields as well as Juline.🤢
  13. He was an absokute liability as a fielder, and Cruz was here when he came up, what were they supposed to do with him?
  14. How many game dead spots in the line-up are OK if they do not develope. I do believe they should reduce platooning greatly though.
  15. Helman is not a bad fielder but Rodriguez and Rosario are very bad.
  16. Solano could be a good idea. Jeffers and Camargo, two run at will catchers, 🤢 After one year, Camargo would probably be called Camargone.
  17. Here is what AI says about Twins and Santana: AI Overview Highlight No, Carlos Santana is not expected to sign with the Minnesota Twins in 2025: Free agency: Santana is a free agent after the 2024 season. First base options: The Twins are exploring other options for first base in 2025, including Miguel Sanó, Marwin Gonzalez, and Alex Kirilloff. Front office plans: The Twins might want to go in a new direction at first base in 2025. Salary: Santana might not sign for much more than his 2024 salary.
  18. Yes the Twins should go back to five to ten years before making post season or almost twenty years before winning a post season game. Sell now and worry later.
  19. You mean trade a good player when the team is struggling to stay at .500, why? If Kepler, Santana , Farmer leave, the Twins have a few decent players and a lot of crap-shoot players. It seems few here care if the twins remain a top team or head to the basement, long term. I do not pretend to be the Twins banker , so do not respond with, "Yeah but the Twins (unknown) budget next year is this."
