  1. Wallner will tie the game; if no one is on base he will run around the bases twice. Or not.
  2. That the announcer called the exact pitches that Buxton would get, some thing is very wrong with Twins batsmen.
  3. If Twins pitchers walk a batter, too often bad problem; if the Twins batters walk, opposing pitchers probably know there is no threat.
  4. Bader seems to influence teams he is on; before he was traded to the Phillys, Kepler looked like a mirror image of Wallner. Bader and Kepler both play Left Field and in the 7 games since Bader showed, Kepler is batting.318 with 7 hits including a home run. I have a feeling Kepler is one who doesn't perform till a manager tells him: Either you perform as expected , or you will be sitting on the bench.
  5. OH yes, it is Gasper's fault , hee hee, ho ho, ha ha, you'll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white clothes....
  6. Lewis is doing what Wallner does, trying too hard, he is not relaxed at the plate.
  7. His glove hit the dirt, not the ball
  8. How about a good old fashioned game winning hit.
  9. The Mario brother shuts them down.
  10. I am speaking of The Twins, not MLB as a whole, but you say so. Now Pitchers, I do not dwell on pitchers.
  11. A two home run night for Julien? Nope but Julien is at the Mendoza line!
  12. This line-up is butt-clincher for fans.
  13. The Only way rookies are brought up after Spring Training is if some one gets hurt, or if another rookie is so bad that he gets sent down and they must have a replacement, Major Leagues is not Minor League learning school ------------------------------------------------------------- Opening day lineup on top of March 7 lineup, gee where did all the rookies that are supposed to be learning the bigs go?
  14. Keaschall may be an exception, but with a bat, NONE of the AAA rookies, past the Buxton, Sano, Kepler days, have shown they would have been better than the veterans brought it. With a glove, they have been from below average to just plain bad; a few have done OK , else where, but not here.
  15. These young men are being paid a goodly sum; it is professional baseball , NOT Little League.
  16. Correct , they moved to a - slightly - smaller house in Woodland , Mn, on Lake Minnetonka. I used to landscape in Minnetonka, sad to see how taxes have caused long time owners to chop up, literally , old estates. I worked at one with a beautiful garden and loop drive way, except the driveway loop, then, ended in a granite wall and came out of a granite wall on the other side.
  17. They do that in sprint training, not subject them to regular season humiliating frustration as experienced by Keirsey Jr
