Home runs are getting out of control again which is causing me to pay less and less attention to anything MLB related this year.
  4. notoriousgod71
Sano with another fine defensive play at third base.

Trading Bobby Hill and Jose Hernandez for Kenny Lofton and Aramis Ramirez. That being said it is a lot easier to take if you actually acquire difference makers for prospects instead of mediocre stop gaps.

While Kershaw makes it look easy and is the most electrifying the guys I always enjoy watching are the the max effort guys like Peavy, who looks like he's went the distance after warmups. The results are no longer there but in his prime I really enjoyed watching him pitch.

Why is anyone up here? It's obvious 4/5 of the roster has no idea what they're doing.

is in the batting lineup tonight in Oakland. Bochy elects to not use a DH. This is the first time a pitcher has been in the lineup with the DH available since Maddon screwed up the lineup card by listing both Zobrist and Longoria at 3b, thus losing the DH.

You're right. 30 for 30 Believeland, BattleFrog Obstacle Race, and the CFL. Coverage of this is non-existent as I had to search the Coastal Carolina website to find out who won.

The final game of the season postponed until Thursday at noon. That should attract a huge viewership....
  11. notoriousgod71
Yes, the JR Murphy HR was heart breaking because it convinced Terry that he was a quality player.

    Game 1 of 2003?
  13. notoriousgod71
He is just going to terrorize the Twins every time he faces them.
  14. notoriousgod71
I assumed after reading the topic title that it would just be one giant blank message.

Dick loves that the 1992 Padres had to have a representative in the all-star game. I would suppose so since Gwynn, McGriff, and Sheffield all had big offensive years.
  16. notoriousgod71
Dick is now seriously pimping Suzuki for all-star.
  17. notoriousgod71
"Where would Suzuki fit in with the organization's plans?" JFC, Dick, get it together.

I haven't watched any of the games the past three days- how did Dick and Smalley spin the Arcia trade?
  19. notoriousgod71
I really liked how Dick and Smalley spent half an inning discussing how we need to allow 1000 AB for guys like Buxton, Kepler, even Grossman before deciding their worth. I wonder if maybe they should change their cutoff number to 884.
  20. notoriousgod71
That was an even more useless interview than normal.
  21. notoriousgod71
Terry should watch the Seinfield episode where George decides to do the exact opposite of his instincts.

http://www.startribune.com/can-robbie-grossman-be-the-twins-version-of-j-d-martinez/382768381/# This pertains to giving up on Arcia too quickly.
  23. notoriousgod71
I'm impressed Terry and the boys were able to draft a HOF player in the 34th round. Nice work!
  24. notoriousgod71
I want Delvin Perez (I don't care about failed drug tests) or Craig. But yes, if Groome is around take him. Potential second rounder- I wanted Funkhouser from Louisville last year and I want him again. They'll probably try to take Logan Shore again.

    dick has completely lost it.
