  1. Hopefully, this means we don't see 36 pitchers again this year. There were no fewer than 15 guys that should never see the field of play for a MLB team and that isn't even counting guys like Hughes or Perkins.
  2. By themselves none of these moves are particularly exciting but as a whole this is clearly our best offseason since Thome, Hudson, Hardy.
  3. Also, what is he reproving? He had the same year he always does.
  4. Whiplash would be quite believable.
  5. Same question- Anibal Sanchez.
  6. This guy threw at his own kid in a father-son game.
  7. That would be a hilarious offer.
  8. It would be nice to use someone else as our farm team for a change.
  9. This is really bizarre and took me by surprise but I LOVE IT. Even if Lomo regresses he i certainly better than Vargas/Grossman. One more legitimate SP and I would (dare I say) call us a legitimate contender in the postseason.
  10. This is the Twins. He will be playing left field.
  11. I disagree. It's the most painful thing I've ever experienced in my life.
  12. When you have a chance you need to go for it and commit to it, not half assed wishy washy additions. When KC went to the playoffs in 2014 and won in 2015 everyone said it was amazing because they were ahead of schedule. Then 2016 and 2017 (their supposed window) happened and I bet they're glad they made additions of Cueto, Shields, Zobrist, Davis prior to their so-called window. Strike while the iron is hot for once!
  13. Why do people keep mentioning May? He's coming off an injury, he gives up a ton of hits, throws a lot of pitches, hasn't started in three years. What are we hoping for out of him? 5 IP 3 ER seems to be about the best case scenario. Our rotation is obviously still terrible but I would be in no rush to see May as a starter.
  14. This is still not overly helpful but is better than I expected.
  15. What's he done differently? He sells during a playoff race, drafts someone other than the consensus number one pick at number one, and refuses to address team weaknesses.
  16. Double.
  17. I think with the rotation as it currently stands this team will be lucky to not start of the season 10 games below .500 in the first 30 games.
  18. Opening day starter?
  19. So they don't want to sign any pitching, they don't want to trade pitching, and they passed on Hunter Greene in the draft last year. Where exactly do they think they'll find pitching if not any of those three areas?
  20. Ha, I can't believe they had a Park bobble head.
  21. Also they are having a Jim Thome Night for some reason and Kepler is a bobble head so he will not be dealt.
  22. Just as I thought I'd never get over not signing Darvish they send an email touting their promotional schedule. I can not wait to watch Gibson pitch while wearing my Star Wars themed t-shirt that is too small. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll get a LED Energy Efficient light bulb. I'm not kidding.
