  1. Don't worry, they were never going to get past the Yankees or Astros anyway.
  2. When you think you have enough pitching, get some more.
  3. Maybe that's why Rocco allowed him to finally hit that 100 pitch mark.
  4. I think that was the definition of "saunter".
  5. The opening montage reminds me how much I loved the 2001-2003 Twins. So much heart, fire, and antagonism from that squad.
  6. Astudillo makes Robbie Alomar circa 1992 look like Dan Uggla circa any year.
  7. May as well cycle through the bullpen til we find the guy that doesn't have it tonight.
  8. Trevor May... why?? Perez is finally pitching lights out. Let him go. He had 70 pitches for Christ's sake.
  9. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/astros-minor-leaguer-loses-home-run-thanks-embarrassing-baserunning-blunder-013014259.html Not Twins prospect so feel free to move to General Baseball if it's more applicable there.
  10. Dick forgets Millar played for the Saints.
  11. I wish they'd bring Ted Robinson back to do the games with Kaat.
  12. Each game would be 15-14 with 12 home runs apiece. The games would end at 3:30 am. In that respect, thankfully we will likely get the Astros who should at least be able to keep the games under five hours.
  13. Apparently when your arm falls off you also die. He only made it to 32.
  14. Dick just seems bewildered how this could possibly happen.
  15. Well, I guess we didn't learn from Bartlett, Sano, and Arraez but you probably shouldn't put your infielders in the outfield.
  16. What is baffling to me is that Rocco seems insistent on allowing his starting pitchers to throw 80-85 pitches each game, whether they are throwing a one hit shutout or getting lit up. How about you let the guys pitching well continue and take the guys who can't get anyone out sooner? This seems like a better pitching strategy.
  17. That's all we have are bullpen games. None of these starts (or Rocco) are capable of going more than six.
  18. Perez is who we thought he was.
  19. Also there are four individual players with more home runs than total complete games this season.
  20. Not to mention it was 1995 that saved the franchise.
  21. There has been more home runs hit through August than complete season home runs in any season except 2017,
  22. Thanks Manfred for making me not care about baseball anymore.
