    About the only guys you could consider workhorses in today's MLB are Bauer, Scherzer, and Verlander (Kluber would be when not felled by a freak injury). There are really only a handful of other guys that could be if given the opportunity, which is sad.

    I have no idea what the infatuation is with Boyd. He has never been particularly good and still isn't this year. He gives up a ton of home runs as he always does. He is striking a lot of guys out this year but everyone strikes a lot of guys out in 2019. You need to set your sights higher than Boyd if you want to contend. Much higher.

    Having played most of their season without Kluber, Carrasco, or Clevenger and with Bauer as their ace (who some posters don't even want on the Twins team), a garbage season from Ramirez, and getting rid of Brantley and Encarnacion and they are the team to beat.
