That would probably be a statistical outlier. I will need to see evidence of this being a good signing before I have any confidence. I have no faith that this organization can compete. Let's face it, 2019 was also a statistical outlier for this franchise since 2010. And yes, the 2020 team was not that good. They got lucky since they only played games against an awful AL central. And that team also finished 26-24 after a 10-2 start. Other than 2019 the Twins have been average to garbage Going forward I will need to see it on the field, not just on paper or someone's opinion. Right now I see a 75 win team unless I see a better record at the end of the 2023 season. Since they signed the 19th corner outfielder on the 40 man, they will probably trade a young guy instead of Kepler, which means more of the same going forward.
