  1. D So the Twins trade Larnach, now remember he's no good. And you expect to get a GOOD pitcher
  2. Definitive on Celestino, wavering on the rest. Here's the real question. If he's so bad, and you want to trade him what are you going to get in return? Because you're smarter than all 30 GMs in the major league
  3. And just to prove my point I quote " Celestino has figured it out in a big way" vs Larnach MIGHT.
  4. No, you just don't like him. And you constantly say what a rag arm he has and how slow he is and maybe he can dh. Youre a troll and I take it personal because he's my stepson. If you knew how hard he works and how humble and gracious of a man he has become. Youre negative about everything
  5. I know. Because Kepler is the best rightfielder in all of baseball. And there's no room for a guy who lumber in the OF and can only hit doubles
  6. In regards to Pagan, Justin Morneau made a comment that Pagan was working on a new grip. I know these pitchers work out every day. But if that's why he's struggling with his command then why isn't he in St.Paul trying to get his BB/9 back on track instead of in meaningful regular season games? Before this season his BB/9 ratio was 2.5/9 and now it's over 10. Or is that not an option
  7. And so far, the only teams who were ranked lower than the Twins when they played has been Baltimore and Oakland. According to MLB pipeline 1-30 weekly rankings. Yes I believe the schedule has been weak. And they did stumble vs the Orioles the final 2 games. But last years team would be 11-18 instead of 18-11
  8. There's another way to look at it. The Tigers were near .500 when they played as was Boston and KC. and Cleveland. Tampa was over .500. Only Baltimore was way below .500 when they played. And if you read MLB's team rankings all except Baltimore were ranked ahead of Minnesota
  9. I would say his play in right has been solid. There was a fly ball Friday night that I believe should have been caught. Celestino has hit much better than anticipated and his OF play has been much better too. I wouldn't mind him staying in LF if he keeps it going. Subbing for Buxton on his off days. DH Larnach and have him in left on days Celestino is in CF upon Larnachs return. Miranda and or Lewis could possibly stay as I believe Kirilloff just won't be able to go every day and Urshela has been struggling. JMO
  10. I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure the St. Louis Cardinals 1st employed the shift specifically against Ted Williams and the Red Sox in the 1946 World Series
  11. I honestly believe that Kirilloff is just never going to be the same. This wrist problem goes back 3 years. Even after his surgery he laid off swinging till November and he said that he's never been pain free. I hope this will pass, but I fear that it wont
  12. I just want to add. I see a lot of comments in regards to Larnachs strong arm. Early this year and last year the comments were how slow he is and what a lollipop arm he has. He's among the league leaders in doubles, so he can't be that slow and he now has 3 or 4 outfield assists after 23 games he's played, not all of them in the outfield. What happened? Did his arm and legs get instantaneously stronger and faster?
  13. I couldn't agree more. How does Pagan have a .156 WAR after loading the bases and barely getting out of the jam. That's why I don't buy all the metrics. Sure he gets the save. But the laws of average say if he keeps trending with high% of walks he's going to get burned
  14. Couldn't agree more. I would love to see 5 or 6 high obp hitters sprinkled with 3 or 4 power bats who WILL put the ball in play vs a 30 to 40 homer guy that strikes out 200 times
  15. Well Duran took care of that ?
  16. I'm pretty sure thats exactly what I'm saying. Another person said that rookies mistakes (Miranda) were the reason for the loss. My response was OK, if you want to subtract those 3 runs then the Twins still lose. My statement was that Bundy coming back out after giving up 6 runs the previous inning was a bigger factor than the error. Hence Baldelli
  17. What part? Baldelli sending Bundy back out after surrendering 6 the inning before or the Miranda error which someone alluded to the reason the Twins lost
  18. Subtract 3 from 9. Final 6-4. This is a Baldelli loss not a rookie 1st baseman
  19. As if they had anything to do with this loss
  20. Rocco just gave away any chance the Twins may have had. I understand last time Bundy gave uo 4 in the 1st and they gave him the opportunity to right the ship. But tonight the Twins answered a 6 spot with 4 of their own, only to send Bundy back out. Not sure of that decision
  21. I'm curious. If Larnach is so slow, how come so many doubles? Shouldn't they just be long singles
  22. The pitching got the Twins through tonight. But a couple of timely hits were enough. They'll get the bats going tomorrow
  23. A nice series win vs Tampa Bay and I liked how the Twins scored by stringing together hits. Only 1 run by way of the long ball. Keep it going in Baltimore
